UH-1 Huey HAL-3 “Seawolves” – 1/87 Scale Die-Cast Metal US Navy Helicopter Model with Display Stand – Officially Licensed Vietnam War Collectible for Adults Ages 14+

I added a whimsical UFO/UAP scene to my HO scale train layout The scene includes a flying saucer, landing in the middle of a farm pasture, trying to steal some cattle, a farmer trying to save the cattle and the army to the rescue. The soldiers had to arrive in something, and this model Huey fit the bill perfectly. I like to have fun with my layout. This model reminded me a lot of the Huey that I flew in back in the early 70s and is very accurate. If I ever dismantle this scene from my layout, the Huey has a nice stand to display it with.

This item came in perfect shape; no scratches or dings. Great model of the real helicopter, we will be buying more of these.. I would highly recommend!

My son asked for this for Christmas so I asked for his opinion. He said “Awesome. I love that it’s all metal and the doors slide open and close.”

This would absolutely have been a five star review if it wasn’t for the stands. I have no idea why they make these highly detailed and wonderful miniatures and then sell them with these ridiculously small stands that tip over extremely easily. I recently purchased both the Huey gunship and medevac helicopters as well as an osprey and not even a month later, they’re all broken because they’re too top heavy for the small stands.

She I got this model the rotters where a bit bent well like and when I tried to put the rotters together it was not easy but the details is really good this is a great model!
