Bose smart ultra
This is an outstanding Bose soundbar’ the app is solid without any issues and works like clockwork. You can use the App the adjust the sound settings to suit your personal sound preferences . The soundbar is a solid well designed device which looks elegant sitting on my tv stand. There is plenty of power in it if required’ it took me about 15minutes to set it up without any problems at all. The sound is crisp and clear especially with AI speach mode. I haven’t decided yet on adding surround speakers yet but it is a massive improvement on my Bose solo 2 tv speaker. The price is a real deal breaker. This is a top of the range soundbar from Bose. Highly recommended ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 👍

Great sound but some bugs to be fixed still
Upgraded from a Bose 700 soundbar to this. At first run I though I'm going to send this back but in a short time I realized how much better this device is compared to the 700 series which I already loved very much. While the 700 was clear and nice, this really-really fills the room and does enhance the sounds by a lot while the older versions "just" gave you great sounds. They are not on the same level. Need to hear the difference. So why I'm giving 4 stars only? There's a bug which turns the TV back on when Atmos is used. In short, you're done for the day, use the TV remote to power off the TV should trigger CEC to turn this off as well. Sometimes after a minute or so, this device turns the TV back on stating an Atmos device has been connected. This should have been fixed with the latest 6.10 firmware but still produces the problem.

Great but needed the sub!
A great sounding sound bar but like most sound bars missing the deep bass that the sub provides so you just gotta suck up the extra £800 for the sub and then it’s truly extra ordinary for the size! Also not many in white but LOVLEY glass top to it.

Great Hardware with Awful Software
I have been a Bose fan for 20+ years. I've bought everything from headphones, to portable speakers to their sound bars. So please understand it is hard for me to give a low review as I still rate almost every other Bose item I still own.I have owned the Bose 300 sound bar for a while with the bass unit and surround speakers. I love it and and decided to upgrade to the Ultimate as I wanted Atmos.Sadly this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience due to hardware crashes, issues with sound not playing as well as having to resetting it almost every day. There has just been a lack of stability and believe me I truly truly truly tried to make it work..... I really did but after 2 weeks and a multitude of issues I returned it and went back to my Bose 300, which is more reliable. Here are the pros and cons that should explain why it was returned:Pros:+ Sound is amazing, the few times I got it working it was a delight, this is great hardware let down by awful software and mobile app (see below)Cons:- Software is unstable, requiring me to unplug it every time turn it on- Software is unstable, requiring me to reset the whole setup in the app to get sound out of all speakers- Software is unstable, showing a red light all the time no matter what I did a week into ownership and not even a factory reset could get rid of it even when it was working perfectly (Which was rarely).- The app is poor, no ability to update the hardware's software (You have to use secret combinations of buttons on the controller and god knows what's happening when you do, the app won't tell you much)- The app is poor, no alternate sound settings for the equaliser, no sound bar reset, no feedback on issues, its bare bones at best and close to useless unless you want to change the volume)- Adapt audio setup results in weak hard to hear surround sound, not an issue on the previous Bose 300 soundbar. All of this just frustrated me after a lot of days trying and retrying to get my unit set up. Remember I love Bose but for this kind of money they must do a better job with their software especially as their engineers are doing such a good job with the hardware. I suspect they did very little QA on the software and even less focused user testing.

You get what you expect from a Bose product.
This Bose product replaced the older 500 bar, sub and surround speaker setup I have had for about 5 years. I went originally for another brand that boasted Dolby Atmos sound but it just didn't deliver and I returned to Bose. This is now the only speaker I'm using as I've not felt the need to add a sub or surround speakers yet. I may do later on but so far, so very, very good. Easy to set up, even with the weird looking Adaptiq process. Just don't do it when you have visitors. :).Connectivity is easy and it is all just very simple to set up and get the best out of.
