It’s very sharp and good design. But expected a bit bigger.

I bought these primarily for the function of catching nail clippings but was very disappointed when I found that they don't catch clippings at all!Also the slide-back function for releasing the supposed clippings got stuck and wouldn't open and close.The clippers are sharp and cut through nails easily which is why I didn't give a 1 star review.I found it difficult to manage how much nail I trimmed off and felt that the way the clippers sat I ended up cutting my nails very short and even cut my toe, which I have never had a problem with before with other clippers.*Update, the sellers have contacted me very promptly offering to make this right and I really appreciate that and wanted to add this to my feedback.*

Odd to be enthusing about a mundane object like a nail clipper but I was really knocked out by this little device. For years I have been struggling with (what I now know to be) third rate clippers which made the task of nail clipping a time consuming chore. This chap is sharp, well engineered and does the job magnificently. Well worth the price too.

After using half a dozen times the pin holding the two parts of the clippers together broke and I am now unable to use them.

For some reason I thought these were toe nail clippers as that’s what I searched for. I don’t have fingernails as I bite them so useless for me.

These are definitely the best nail cutters I have ever used.Right up front I didnt buy these for catching nails. i have been looking for a good set of nail cutters for ever.I have a little thinker than normal nails (nothing crazy, just not normal thin nails), and every single cutter I have ever bought tend to cut right on one hand and be a little blunt cutting the other way, leaving jagged edges making filing a pita.These cutters feel and work like a nail cutter I have always wanted to. Cannot recommend them more.Pros:Everything, there is nothing I cannot recommend about these.Cons:Are HORRIBLE at collecting nails, would ignore that point completely.

My initial impression was, the nail clipper is bit small compared to the one I was using before. However, having a smaller head/ cutting site, gives a better control over nail cutting ability.
