Okay so I cleaned this real Dyson part and apparently broke it somehow and needed a replacement. The brand new replacement is over 100$ closer to 200 and out of stock ! Came on Amazon hoping this wasn’t a scam and it’s not! It work! And it rolls too. The only ONE difference is there is no carpet switch setting that lowers or heightens the roller. If you have a dyson you know what I’m talking about. But that’s fine I’d rather save $$$ and just push my foot on top of my low carpet / rugs when needed. The rolling back and forth part isn’t as smooth either like the original. But that’s being really picky. I am so happy I found this part and would highly recommend. It clicks in seemlessly, the colors match the vaccuum, it sucks up the crumbs just as good and it’s all clean and new.

Bought this really hoping it would work for our Dyson v7.It clicked right in just like name brand. And, drum roll, it works very well. The design on bottom is different than Dyson causing it to lose a little suction. HOWEVER, it seemed to suck up the same amount into the bin. I like it even better than Dyson because of the fact it doesn't suck up bath mats and kitchen mats causing the vacuum to shut off.For whatever reason our Dyson stopped working. Thankfully replacing the head with THIS item fixed the issue and saved us from having to buy another expensive vacuum!!!!!!

Does not work near as good as OEM part. It also does not have the functionality to automatically improve suction when transitioning between hardwood and carpet. Don't waste your money and just find an OEM replacement.

my Dyson broke after years of use and I got on Amazon and found a replacement part .I received it —-easy easy. Put on the replacement and just like new again.

Fit my V6 Animal Dyson (V04) model. Real pain to find the model on the Dyson but that's not this vendors fault. Looks exactly like the original. A bit pricey but much better than buying from Dyson. Almost just bought a new one vacuum but couldn't give up the 10 year old V6.

This was the perfect replacement for my Dyson V10. My original "Quick release Motorhead" had gotten dirty and I thought I could just place it in water to clean it and let it dry. . . Well that was a dumb idea. . It wouldn't work after it dried, and upon some inspection I found I could have just used a quarter, turned and pulled the roller out to clean it. . . But after my stupid mistake this product came from Amazon, priced well, and arrived the same day as delivery. I may just buy another one to have an extra around. I love my Dyson and the quick release motorhead.

Oem is on the left , product is on the right in the photo. This is a cheap knock off product. It works good enough but is far from the performance or features of the OEM model. The OEM version automatically adjust suction based on the surface being vacuumed, this one does not. The roller wheels are embarrassingly small and low performing. The plastic enclosure vibrates feels cheap and fragile l, compared to OEM. Not saying don't buy it but, I would never recommend this.

It does fit well and work, however it doesn’t “stick” to the floor as the Dyson head did for me. It more glides than sticks. It seems to be sturdy, but I only use it on my wood floors. When I tried on my living room rug, it wouldn’t vacuum even on the eco setting. I’m still impressed with how well it picks up dirt and dust.
