impressive quality for the price- brightness/color is just about perfect
I was skeptical about and sub $200 projector, let alone anything below $1000 as I have had several home theaters in past homes I lived in. I did a ton of research but what made me decide on a projector is watching actual reviews on youtube- There is a channel that demonstrated several projectors side by side and went through each one comparing them to each other- that's when I saw the Omnistar L80- the brightness/picture quality is outstanding, even the low light scenes are very good and this is very important as other projectors anywhere near this price struggle in dark scenes. The fan is relatively quiet, yes you can hear it but its really not irritating as its only noticeable during the quietest of scenes. Im just using a cheap Roku stick so I could imagine how much better it would be with a high quality dedicated HD signal but the movies are still very clear. There are built-in apps ready to load into its memory, they also work fine. The autofocus works well. The only negative would be I tried the bluetooth option for sound to my stereo receiver and there was a slight delay, don't know if its the receiver or the projector so I ran the sound using the headphone jack directly to the receiver and its perfect. Overall very impressed, still can't believe what you can get for under $200. Btw, this projector looks best with a 100+ inch screen....

Exceptional projector even in daylight.
Exceptional Daytime Performance with the Casiris Omnistar L80 I recently purchased the Casiris Omnistar L80 and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is outstanding, offering vibrant colors and sharp images that truly enhance my viewing experience. One of the standout features of this projector is its brightness. Rated at 1500 ANSI lumens, it delivers a bright and clear image even in the daytime. This is a game-changer for me as it allows for versatile usage of the projector at any time of the day. The auto-focus and auto-correct features are also impressive. They work seamlessly to provide a crisp, well-aligned image without any manual adjustments. This is a huge time-saver and adds to the overall ease of use. The built in speaker works so well I do not use my soundba, so if you was thinking of getting a soundbar I believe you should try without as it is not needed in my opinion. While I do use xbox and fire cube the built-in wifi connection works well I use the other connections for easy connection to home camera system through Alexa on fire cube and gaming on xbox. In conclusion, the Casiris OmniStar L80 offers great value for its price. It combines excellent picture quality, high brightness, and convenient features to deliver a top-notch viewing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a reliable and high-performing projector. Chris.

Run away DONT buy! Not a Smart Projector. Outdated Software Makes Built-In Apps Unusable
The hardware itself is passable for a budget projector, but the “smart” portion of this device is extremely disappointing. It runs Android 9, which is so outdated that core apps like YouTube and others cannot sign in and display a “device not supported” error. This renders the built-in app system essentially unusable. Despite being advertised as a smart projector, you will need a separate streaming device (Fire Stick, Chromecast, Roku, etc.) just to use basic apps, which defeats the purpose of buying a smart projector to begin with. Other issues include: • Wireless casting is inconsistent • On-device UI is slow and outdated • App support is extremely limited due to the old operating system • Any advertised “smart features” are not reliable in real-world use If you only plan to use this as a basic display with HDMI and never touch the smart features, it may be serviceable for dark rooms. But if you expect to use apps directly on the projector, this product will not meet expectations.

Solid Full size Projector with excellent audio and video at a great price!
Projector video quality is superior to the other budget projects my family has used for watching streaming services. Massively brighter, excellent auto calibration, very solid sound, better then any other projector I have ever used. Comparable to 1K branded projectors that I have used in my job with better audio. I docked one star as the built in app stores did not have apps that worked properly for Youtube, Disney, and Apple. The vendor was aware and recommended getting a stick streaming device, we are going to utilize Apple TV box for fast responsive apps. The unit also has Ethernet multiple inputs, and a large power brick but no mounting hardware. I found a budget mount that we are going to use to get this off a temp table that was used for testing. Its fairly large and weighs about 10 lbs but the value for money is unquestionable. Very happy with the purchase. At bellow 200$ I don't think you find a better setup. My son has purchased 50-100 buck mini projectors and those are terrible compared to this machine. I have had name brands that were not as bright. Image resolution is 1080P which means solid video output 1080 maps well for 4K content and even though we are testing with 100" projector screen looks solid with bright colors, not washed out like the other projectors we have tried. It can also go up to a massive 200" screen.

Great projector for the price
For the price point this is an excellent projector. The picture quality and the auto focus is amazing and it was easy to set up with an HDMI for Apple TV. The built-in speakers sound pretty good too if you don’t plan on using Bluetooth speaker speakers.

It's bright and cheap and loud. Buyer beware.
It is bright, but I doubt it's actually 1500 ANSI Lumens. Probably about half that. The auto keystone works great. It's nice and loud. The software is horrible, but at least it's in English. None of the apps like MAX can be updated so they no longer work. If you plug a Fire Stick or Roku into its port, you'll be just fine. For some reason, my unit is slightly uneven so there's always a slight tilt to the picture which I manually adjust using keystone correction. For the price, I like it and would recommend it, but the brightness could not be 1500 ANSI Lumens.
