Check the review you are reading, they're mixed among different plates.
Make sure you're reading a review for the plate you're actually looking at because they all appear to be lumped together under the same manufacturer. This review is for the BLACK SMOOTH/TEXTURED PEI plate, NOT any of the specialty/holographic style plates. This is hands-down, one of the best plates that I have added to my collection. So much so that after I pulled the first print with it off of my X1C, I ordered another one so that I'd be able to have one in use at the same time on my A1 printer as well. I ordered the first plate because I wanted a smooth or no textured option as even the BIQU Glacier plates that I use to print airless basketballs have a fine texture to them. It's nice, but I wanted a smooth option that wasn't a hologram plate. When I pulled that first print off of the plate, I was stunned. The contact service was as smooth as if the piece had been injection molded yet it's still stuck like crazy to the plate. So the next thing I did was crank out another print using the textured side and as one would think it was just as successful, but provided a very subtle texture to the print. These have hands-down become my absolute favorite build plates. The second one literally just arrived in the mail which is what prompted me to write this review.I can't speak to this companies, holographic plates, however, if someone is reading this by accident as they're looking at one of those, I can tell you that they typically need a shot of hairspray or some sort of glue on them because those things are slick as glass. In fact, I'm printer a taller 6 inch figurine right now for my niece that I wanted to have a little pizzazz on the bottom of the base, and after spraying it with a little hairspray before beginning, it's adhering to the build plate just fine as well.BLACK SMOOTH/TEXTURED PEI version, no regrets, run don't walk, buy buy buy.

It’s beautiful, but remember to clean it and use some hairspray.
The designs are beautiful. Adhesion is next to none though. But if you spray it with hair spray it helps tremendously. I recommend the plain aquanet. Remember to clean it off before reapplying the hairspray. Otherwise it will effect the texture transfer and you’ll see where your last print was.

Great value
I have used and abused this. I am not good at cleaning it. I keep my printer in my garage so I usually just wipe the dust off with a lint free cloth and go. This thing works great.

IMPORTANT! This plate can and will scratch you bed.
-Be very careful when taking the plate in and out! The small tab at the top of the plate, where the printer cleans the nozzle, is sharp enough to scratch the bed. If you drag or push it with the tabtouching the bed it will scratch. I really wish they would of put a warning somewhere. Make sure to pick the plate up completely before moving.- As many others have already stated the plate has to be very clean. I cleaned it with warm water and mild soap. After installtion I used isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel, wiping inmultiple directions to do a final clean before printing.-Most PLA will stick after increase the bed temp to 60C. Some PETG will stick after increasing the bed to 80C.-Slow down the first layers. I'm printing the first layers at 30mm/s.-The most important question is would buy it again. The answer is probably..This is my first effect plate and thefinish that it gives is absolutely incredible! If you haven't tried one yet I absolutely recommend trying one. The final result from this plate is great, but you do need to be careful.

O.K. plate on the textured side, not so much on the other one
This is an O.K. plate. On the textured side it works as intended, with the only downside being that it is not automatically recognized by my 3D printers (X1C and P1S). On the "effect" side it is another story, it offers very poor adhesion. I found that using glue improves adhesion, but it distorts the textured pattern, and heating up the plate and the chamber in advance improves the adhesion as well, but it is a gamble and it also an extra step that I have not had to take with other plates.

Better Than Bambu Lab
After my Bambu Lab build plate survived just about 5 prints and Bambu Lab told me to pound sand, I figured I would try an aftermarket one. At first, this plate doesn't seem to be as high as quality as the Bambu Lab one APPEARED to be, but wow. I am not sure how many prints I am up to on this plate, somewhere around 50, with one failure. I am impressed and would buy again.
