Is this big enough for one cockatiel?

Absolutely, my cockatiel loves this cage. Plenty big that his tail doesn't get caught on anything. The food and water dishes are separated enough so they don't get soiled easily. Mine had trouble getting to the play area at first but now he knows how to get around easy.
