eufy Security SoloCam S340 with HomeBase 3, Solar Security Camera, Wireless Outdoor Camera, 360° Surveillance, No Blind Spots, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, No Monthly Fee, HomeBase S380 Compatible

First time I tried Eufy add additional cameras in areas I can’t POE or anything. Frankly I was blown away. I also got the home based as I didn’t want to add another subscription to my RING systems. The Eufy works awesome. Installation is super easy. The solar power is very efficient. Charges very quickly and batteries are always pretty full. The picture quality is great and the tracking works great as well. The RING cameras I already have work soso OK. Got a bit battery issues on the solar ones even with 2 batteries. (Mostly in winter). I wished RING had more selection on PZT cameras and more options period. I would have prefered to simply add Ring to stay with one system. As i also have a RING alarm system (which I love as it is so easy to setup and has such a great interface and endless options) I would have liked to stay with RING only. But the Eufy cameras are way better and quicker. Hopefully RING will catch up on that end.

Good products. Works as described

I placed this on my shed and I love this camera. Caught my neighbor evil antics and it picks up great. The night vision is awesome. The only issue I have is that it does not ALWAYS pick up motion until you get in a particular range of the camera. FIX THIS ISSUE AND YOU HAVE A PERFECT SPECIMEN!!!

All was pretty much straight forward on install and setup. The only thing i would recommend make sure you have the 2.5g side separated on your router when setting these up.

I’ve had the Eufy S340 for about a month now and honestly, I love it. Setup was super easy (I’m not super techy and it still only took me a few minutes). The picture quality is really clear, both day and night, and I can see everything from my phone without any lag. The pan/tilt feature is awesome—I can literally check the whole yard just by swiping on the app. Motion alerts are spot on too. It doesn’t go off every time a leaf blows, but it definitely catches people and cars when they pass by. The solar panel is a lifesaver. I haven’t had to worry about charging it once. Overall, this camera makes me feel a lot safer at home and I love that I don’t have to pay a subscription fee for it. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it!

I would say this combo is very good, however, I didn't by this set and don't know why I would need to write a review. I do have older eufy Cams and the homeBase 3 and they work excellent.

I'm rather new to the Eufy system, but so far, I'm loving it! The HomeBase is an awesome addition that I recently added to my system. Here is my current setup: 3 SoloCam S340 cameras 1 E340 Doorbell camera 1 HomeBase S380 I only have a few complaints about the AI tech (false human alerts) . 1. I constantly receive false human alerts on my Halloween decorations, mainly a large cat that doesn't even move. The false alerts on our Halloween decorations usually happen after movement in the viewing area such as a car or even a real person. However, the camera locks onto the decoration b/c it thinks it is the object/person that it should track. Even after updating the activity zone to exclude my decorations, it still occurs several times a day. That's a huge bummer b/c I want my decorations to be monitored for motion in case they are stolen. 2. I get false human alerts when my German Shepard walks by the backyard camera. 3. I wished the facial recognition was a bit better b/c the majority of the recordings don't tag them to the known person. Finally, when it notices someone new, the quality of the image that it asks you to add is of low quality. Hopefully, the Eufy team will be releasing some improvements in these areas soon. I've personally donated a lot of videos to their team which could be used to improve the above areas. For now I will give Eufy a 5-star review. However, I may lower that if the false detections aren't improved soon.

The camera system is nice amd very useful data storage is good also. Solar powered and stays charged.
