We purchased an EGO net with slider handle from a local sporting goods shop. I was happy with net until i bent the handle when tilting up the main motor. With the handle bent we could no longer extend the net and led to a couple of lost fish. I was happy to see I could buy a replacement handle from Amazon which made the replacement easy. While at Home Depot i noticed in the paint dept. that they had almost the identical handle i bought for $70 from Amazon for ca. $20!! I brought that handle home to compare and it appears the Amazon handle has a reinforcement member inside allowing the net to lift up to 20 lbs. fully extended. For most of my fishing the cheaper handle would work fine, but in the rare instance we catch a large fish i decided to return the cheaper one to Home Depot. Hope this information is useful to some people!!

Broke the spring in ours but they are really good if you get a good one.

Love this net. Only reason for 4 stars is that the threaded end should be made of stainless steel or at least a stronger metal. It still works great but my original handle snapped at this point. Still a great product.

Great product, padded and easily extendable. This will definitely give you the ability to reach your catch from even a taller pier or bulkhead!

This retract and extend easier than any I have seen

had a hard time keeping it from cross threading but once I got it to go it works great.

Like it a lot. Have identical one that’s a little older. It’s not as easily extended once it starts to get a little older. (Not even 3 yet). Hopefully there’s a fix to that. Other than that it’s the best bet around

I had the shorter version of this handle and managed to break it. The new one seems more robust and works perfectly. Very happy.
