Obviously, these are no-name JohnGuest-style knock-offs, but so far they work fine.If you haven't used the 3/8" ones before, they take a bit of PUSH to seat correctly. The tubing makes a noticeable 'step' on insertion when you get it right. I suspect people who find leaks are only doing a cursory squeeze into the fitting -- you really have to make sure it's all the way inserted past the tight seal.I still use the real JohnGuest valves for things that are under 7/24 pressure, but the price on those just keeps going up. This is a good alternative to try.

Easy to use like any push fit plumbing fitting. Good value for this little fitting kit. Mark the insertion depth on the tube beforehand. Just to make sure you have a secure connection.

These have come in really handy as I'm putting in a new RO Drinking Water system and revising the plumbing. No leaks and easy to install the tubing and easy to remove it.

UPDATE: 10-18-18. I discovered the valves will not create a reliable shut off when using CO2. Found this out when I was force carbonating on keg at 40psi, and shutting the valve to my (already) carbonated kegs. The valves let a small amount of gas through, causing them to hold at 40psi as well. Do not rely on them for this purpose!Works just as good as the expensive brands. They include blue clips that prevent accidental removal. Not necessary for normal use.I used this set for a CO2 beer gas setup. Everything seems to seal up fine.

Needed to put shut offs on and split a filtered water line and these worked great with the plastic hose I purchased. They fit securely and easily, and I was even able to remove one that I installed mistakenly and reuse it with no problems. I'm glad to have the bulk of the kit on hand for spares and future projects.

Easy to use. Used to hook up an reverse osmosis system. None leaked. I did buy the clips separately. I have cats so clips are a must since they can teleport through cabinet doors somehow. Also used some to hook up a patio misting system.

I just bought 3 of the 3/8" OD variant for a compressed air project. There are a total of (3+2+2+2)x4 = 36 ports, so the item, which includes the blue locking clips, should have 36 of them. One bag had 35, and the other two had 39 each, so I am good.
