After spending a week acclimating my plant by gradually increasing both brightness and time, we have reached 12 hours of full light.The head of the lamp gets warm but certainly not dangerously hot.; the gooseneck is easy to manipulate, quite sturdy, and stays precisely where you put it. My ficus microcarpa ginsengprefers the light to be 12-18" away which I accomplished by clipping it onto my blinds.I would suggest researching your particular plant as to distance. Mine was protesting the unusually dark winter we're having here by dropping leaves, something that hasn't happened in our previous 4 winters together. Since using this light, new leaves are coming in on all the branches!I appreciate the 10 ft. cord and the minimal profile of this unit. I researched a fair amount before deciding on this brand and feel I made the perfect choice.

Love these little lights! They are bright with nice dimming, clamps are very strong, gooseneck are flexible but so far hold positioning well, and the timers are working perfectly. Only thing I would like is a 10 hour timer between the 8 hour and 12 hour.

Bought for a work colleague. She has a succulent and is now able to keep her plant in her office (there are no windows in her office). Her plant has been growing a lot faster now than when she had it in the common area window.

So easy to use. Your plants will appreciate the extra light. I love these!

This 10W version is a nice grow light for adding extra lighting...the options for timer settings and light strength are nice, and the adjustable neck is well made and easy to use. The cord is sufficiently long to reach most spaces. The only drawback is the clip, which is a little on the small side, and has only a tiny strip of padding for grip and protection. Otherwise, quality product!

I got both versions. The 10v is beyond what I expected from such a tiny thing. My succulents are THRIVING. It’s less invasive than giant grow bulbs so it’s prettier and less destructing to look at. Love the flexibility and control I have at aiming the light where I want it to go. Timer is good but I prefer 14 hours so I don’t use the timer unless I’m on vacation. Works great!
