Worked as expected
my winch hook was attached with cable clamps and fraying cable that I wanted to make a little neater so I wouldn't get poked by cable wires and I wanted a stop to pull against when retracted. This solved both problems. I did have to get rid of the cable clamps and swage the cable end using a swaging tool. I put heat shrink tubing over the swage to better cover the cable ends and the installed the Warne winch stopper over the swages right behind the hook. It took care of the problem and made a need installation. I suppose you could install the stopper behind cable clamps if you had them and don't have a swaging tool but the little extra effort made a better job. The Warne winch stopper was inexpensive and came with stainless steel bolts which was a nice touch.

The bump stop is as described. Good quality rubber. Easy to install. Prevents winch hook from damaging fairlead. Great product if you’ve broken your synthetic rope and had to re-tie the knot for the winch hook. Prevents the new winch knot from getting stuck in the fairlead. Completely satisfied with this product.
