Divine Watermelon, 4 pack

If you grew up in the US as I did, and you are under 40 as I am, the flavor of these is unique. I really enjoy the subtle watermelon flavor, and they are very sweet (they do contain both sugar and corn syrup, these being the first and second ingredients, respectively). Very sweet - good thing or bad thing depending on your taste. My issue with these is that each individual piece is terribly inconsistent with the chile-lime ratio. Some pieces have literally none. Some have too much. Some have the right amount. Some look like they have maybe too much, but then have none... If it were the difference between 'a little' and 'a lot' in each piece, I'd have rated 4 or 5 stars, but some have NONE, and that sucks. When it's right, it's a great combination. When it's wrong, it isn't bad, but come on. It's a mystery until you bite it. That's not what I signed up for on this mission. If you're going to sell a product, make sure it's the product... how hard is that? "Watermelon flavor candy filled with chili, lime and a touch of sea salt". I feel like half the bag is just 'watermelon flavored candy'. Not bad, but NOT what I paid for.

There is something special about the authentic, small batch, handmade flavors of Tamalitoz by Sugarox. I first found these confections in Mexico and was thrilled to be able to order them on Amazon! The flavors and colors are natural and the kick of chili is perfect. They are the perfect compliment for a summer afternoon (or a winter evening!)~ I can't wait to order more! Thank you.

These hard candies are amazing! Sweet, a little salty and some heat all make for a unique candy. Will definitely purchase again.

Ok honest review right here. These candies are gross! Watermelon flavor quickly changes to salty then citrus chili 🤢. Most awful candy ever
