Q: Are these the same as the ones for 1510?

I honestly am not sure. I purchase these to fit into my Harbor Freight Apache 5800 cases

I can’t compare to the yellow pelican ones, but I have no complaints about the quality of this one specifically

Q: I do camera op/av work so i have all kinds of stuff to put in - smaller and a little larger. good for that?

Yes. Found the pick and pluck foam too difficult. If you have little things, I would put them in a zip lock bag first.
