My period was a week late and I needed to test. When I first took the test around 5 AM, it gave me a book symbol error message with the words “PREGNANT” (not shown because the reading flickered out). Freaking out, anxious, and my heart pounding (because was I hoping for a negative result), I KNEW I needed to test again. After taking the second one, it read “NOT PREGNANT.” At this point, I didn’t trust any of the test taken. My husband told me to retake another test. I took a First Response Test and confirmed that I was not pregnant without any issues. My did eventually period come later that day. While I heard that these are good tests overall, I’ve heard accuracy issues and errors with this brand even with correct use. Needless to say, should I even need a pregnancy test for any reason, I can’t say this would be my first choice.

Pregnancy tests are kind of a fun lottery game at this point for me. (3 babies deep) Sometimes you win “not pregnant” and sometimes you win a whole baby. This one is my current favorite. I really like that it has a countdown clock on it, so I know I’m not checking too soon One tiny complaint though is that in the photos of the product, the light is still on when it says “pregnant” and so I thought my first one might be broken because my light shut off during the count down, and it didn’t come back on. It’s fine, and it’s a small thing but the photos are misleading a little.
