KAVU Paxton Pack Backpack Rope Sling Bag, Jet Black

I adore these bags so much! I have 2, & I bought 3 for Christmas to give my kids & a fam member ☺️ Everyone is enjoying them! I usually use a fanny pack for errands, but when I need to travel with more or go to work- it’s the perfect size for me. Comfortable to sling up on your shoulder, carries the bottle upright & snug, sits up straight when you set on the table, easy to slide to front to access the mini pocket I store my phone & ear buds in. Even when I have it packed I don’t have issues accessing or digging to find things because of the wide and angled zipper. The teardrop shape design is cute & makes it feel less bulky (considering now much you can actually fit inside!). Lots of great patterns & I'm happy with the quality ❤️

I bought the black bc though all the patterns are cute, I like my bag to blend in. It’s perfectly simple. I’ve gotten lots of compliments. This is a great size. I have plenty of room but it’s not too big. I previously had the Patagonia sling and it was just too small. I have not tried the other popular Kavu sling. I liked this look of this one better bc it was more sleek. I also like the pockets in this bag. They are well placed. I’m a big sling bag fan and if you are too I think you’ll love this.

Love this bag. This is my second one of this style. It’s a great mom bag! I like the side pocket for throwing a water bottle or even my keys in on the go. It’s a great size for me to pack everything I would put in a purse, and also still has plenty of room for a pack of wipes a few diapers and some snacks. I also like that everything is accessible from one giant pocket instead of the double zipper like the traditional Kavu. So glad I found this bag.

I thought it would be a little bigger, I wish it was I'd say it medium sized. Glad I didn't get the smaller model. Anyway it seems very well constructed and should last a long time. I do have Kavu wallet and it's held up GREAT!👍

I have been a fan of Kavu and their products for a few years- since college. These bags are great for people on the go who have a few extra things to carry, or who would prefer to be hands-free. I bought the Jet Black Kavu Paxton Pack and am very pleased with how it looks! The brown rope sling really compliments the bag and I like that it is water-resistant. I also own a couple of the original Kavu Rope Bags, and though I like them as well, the Kavu Paxton Pack is my favorite style of sling bag that Kavu offers. One of my favorite features of this bag is the hidden pocket that lies on your shoulder. I use this to hold my phone and other items I really want to be concealed and protected while out on the town. I really love the drink pouch available for my water bottle when I go walking/hiking. There are also two pen/pencil/highlighter pockets inside the large compartment which I use for my pen and highlighter. On the Kavu Rope Bag there is a second large compartment available for smaller items, but it is a little difficult to reach while wearing. One of the main reasons I bought the Paxton Pack is because there is only one large compartment and it is easy to access while wearing. I also love the smaller front pocket on the Paxton Pack to place items that I'd like to grab in a hurry. Finally, I really love the look of the Paxton Pack more so than the Rope Bag. I think the look is cleaner, and less bulky. The compartments are easier to access and I like that there are no pockets that extend outside of the bag. The Kavu Rope Bag has two pockets in the middle of the bag that do this and though they are convenient, I find it easier still to access my things in the Paxton Pack. Every compartment is flush with the design of the Paxton Pack and I think it looks more put-together than the Kavu Rope Bag. Overall, this is my favorite sling bag for mostly convenience and aesthetic reasons. All the compartments are easier to access, I love the discreet pocket that lies on your shoulder, and I really appreciate having a drink holder on the side. This bag wins a 10/10 for me :).

I bought the bright coral one originally but returned it for the black because it's more practical. Love the rope strap. It's thickness makes it really comfortable. I own a few of the smaller rope sling Kavu bags but the Paxton is perfect in size. I typically use a large canvas messenger bag just so I can carry all my stuff for work, including a water bottle. This bag carries all of that stuff and has room for more. (The first bag I ordered smelled like cologne and still had someone's used ear buds in the pouch. Ick. Returned that one for a new one. )

I love this bag! I had the original Kavu Rope bag, but did not like the material, as it seemed to catch everything and stay dirty. This bag is the material I needed. I carry this everywhere! Love the compartments and everything. Only real complaint, the "water bottle" area on the side. I wish the top/opening area, was elastic and would shrink down to not let things fall out.
