Best wrench of this type
If you’re looking at this wrench and trying to decide between it and the less expensive brands, do yourself a favor and get this one. I work for a company that runs seasonal campgrounds and I have to winterize the bath houses each fall and then put them back together each spring. That means taking apart dozens of the industrial style toilet and urinal valves and then putting them back together after the winter is over. The cheap wrenches don’t hold up. This one does.

Great wrench
Great wrench for Rural Water Treatment or Rural Water Distribution Operators. Its adjustability works on valves anywhere between 1/2" to 2" for installation and packing nuts on pretty much any valve you'd find in a small rural water system (1/2" and up). It has great torque for its length and is also really gentle on surfaces at the same time, no marring delicate brass, all while still having excellent bite. It'll work on any hex or square 3/4" and larger. But yea simply put just fantastic for anything plumbing.

Ridgid quality
This wrench is gold. I bought it to help with replacing my radiator heating system. I am remodeling the first floor of a 2 flat in Chicago. Tore up those pipes that have been around since who knows when. I replaced them with pex tubing to making it easier to work with. This wrench helped me remove he old radiator valves and stems without damaging them. I also used them to install the new bushing in the big 3 inch pipes hanging inf the basement ceiling and the pex fittings (hexagaon). It's light weight and definitely something to have in your tool chest to open or close piping without damaging the fitting. My dad got me into the ridgid brand and have purchased the ridgid version of things. A bit pricier but worth the investment.

Yes, This Is Another Of Ridgid's Great Products.
Next Monday this wrench will get tested, or I should actually say the big stupid nut it's going to turn lose will get "tested".I had not seen this type of wrench before and when I "found" it here on Amazon I went to Ridgid's web site and researched it a little. There are more than one size and if I read correctly, this one is the largest capacity. Plenty large enough to solve my problem, and as one of my friends says "man, if you need any larger wrench than that you are working too hard!"I'll follow-up next week after putting this wrench to work. I do CNC repair and this tool looks like it's the answer to all the coolant fitting issues I have encountered.Update: This wrench works great! it's easier to handle than a comparable-sized adjustable wrench and the offset jaw allows access to nuts that are partially blocked by piping and cabinetry.

Excellent tool - but had to return 1st one
I bought this wrench for working under the sink. The first one I received had multiple small ridges across the upper jaw (which is supposed to be smooth). This could damage a chrome or brass nut. I called customer service and they indicated that it was defective and should be returned. I returned and quickly received a replacement - 2nd one was good. So -1 star for the quality issue, it's an excellent wrench, and 5 stars for Rigid customer service.

Love this wrench!
If you need a wrench for an extra-large hex nut, this is the wrench for you. It's especially good for union fittings. It doesn't chew up the surface of the nut the way a pipe wrench does. This is called a hex wrench, and that's what it's designed for, but it also works on square and octagonal fasteners within the size range.Ridgid Tools are the best.
