So far, so good. Frees up space on PS5 by storing your old games from PS4. Seems to perform well as I don’t get glitches or performance issues with the older games.

Buyer beware. Through no fault of the product itself you can only save the actual games and apps to this external drive so you can free up space on the console. You CAN’T SAVE actual saved game data. Of course this is why I bought it! Sony only wants you to save game data in the cloud. You can back up ALL of your saved game data to a flash drive however. Under Settings/System/System Software/Back up and Restore/Back Up you can choose what to back up onto a flash drive. Only copy Saved Data and Settings as the others could exceed your flash drive unless you have a large capacity. Unfortunately to restore all of this you have to restore all. You can’t save or restore individual game saves.

Gets the job done. No complaints whatsoever

Important! I l know that when you first set up the drive, it tells you that it’s only compatible with with ps4 games and apps, and that you “haven’t set up a compatable ps5 hard drive” but this is actually not an issue! When you go to move ps5 apps to it works just as advertised!

Works perfect for the PlayStation five plenty of storage

Yes it only stores PS5 games. Cannot play them directly from it. You can store and play PS4 games from the device, but your console tells you that. Overall pleased with my purchase, cleared up a lot of space.

It’s very high price, but it’s worth it all the way through was able to save so much through this memory device save me a lot of money instead of buying storage
