Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed an ottoman/ storage ben. I really like this. It was delivered today it was supposed to be here around the 16th but arrived early. The only thing that was missing was the velcro to hang the little shelves. But other wise everything was there and it delivered in good condition.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This seat has enough cushion and sturdy for the price. Also, perfect for the space this was intended for. This seat is slim and nothing sticks out which is good.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:i wanted to store my blanket and other items in my foot rest. This foot rest has enough storage for my items. The only negative is trying to get the lid to fit correctly the first time.

I actually bought this storage bench for 2 purposes. 1. It is great to store sheets to clear some space in my linen closet. 2. It makes it easier for our small dogs to jump up onto the bed. Our one dog hurt his leg and had trouble jumping, so I had to lift him up onto the bed, which was hard to do. This bench works much better than doggie steps or a ramp, which our dogs wouldn't use. After some coaxing, they jump onto the bench and right up to bed. Now I can save myself some lifting and have a very nice looking and useful bench at the end of my bed. The fabric is nice blue velvet and it is well made, easy to assemble with wooden legs and some dividers. Highly recommend.

We have 2 in black, love them! They are perfect to store family games, etc. BUT my Gr-daughter came by last night, 2 of the legs broke as soon as she sat on the ottoman. It was the 1st time it had ever been sat on so I think it was most likely defective. She weighs 235, not the 330 these claim to support. Now one tilts lower than the other and no one can sit on it. Return date cutoff was June, it looks horrible and I'm stuck with it or pay another $31 to replace it.

Pleasantly surprised! Make sure you unpack all the boxes and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS first. I missed an assembly step by not doing so & had to redo after realizing not putting in the corner pieces would compromise the integrity. If you don't put the braces on the corners, you will end up with " failure" like I did the first time I sat on it.☹️ Luckily. I was able to put the brackets on before it got worse, and was mostly able to cover up the damage.. I painted the edge of the fabrics with clear nail polish to keep them from fraying worse. That was my bad. The whole thing was incredibly fast and easy to assemble. I didn't time myself but I would say 10 minutes? I actually really liked the divider, it came in handy and provides some sturdiness to the trunk, and the velcro top pieces can fold flat in the bottom or side, if you don't want to use them. They work great for me for my purpose - giving me the opportunity to sort and divide and grab specific things a little easier without having to dig through everything. I'm 140 lb and sat on this and it feels pretty sturdy (aside from my initial assembly faux pas) - Not sure it would hold 600 lb as stated. I have a California King in a narrow bedroom. This works great without taking up too much space but providing additional storage & seating for putting on shoes/socks. I also like the each side ends lifts up independently without having to remove the entire lid. If you can afford to go to Ross and buy a "real" One for an extra 50 bucks, it's probably worth it. But this worked well for an inexpensive and attractive enough option!

Pretty good find. Matches our room colors, easy assembly not as much storage as I thought.
