I’m enjoying this purchase. Works well when set up properly.

It wont connect with my system, I have a duel router and a 5g phone and to set it up using the phone I had to split my router and RESET all my devices and I mean all, TVs, cameras (6) phones, everything so I could select 2.4 on phone to see if it would connect. Nop, did not, says to plug into router which I have had to do with other Vstar cameras but they had a Ethinet port where this one DOES NOT but says to if wifi connect doesn’t work. And to get tech support , well that aint going to happen. AND go to Vstarcam site and this model isn’t even on their list. So its DIFFINATELY going back. What pisses me off the most about Amazon, they don’t tell you when it’s a discontinued item that is no longer supported by the supplier.

Got it at a good price, easy set up & so far seems to be working great.

Video quality is good. There isn’t a user manual that explains how to use or, or a website to go to that helps you learn how to use the controls. You gotta play and learn as you go

UPDATE: I have had this camera for a few months now. As of 2:30p.m. EST, the camera has been charging for 7 hours and 15 minutes. While it shows in the app that it is charging (in the house) and the light is on the camera showing it is charging, the app shows that it is only charge 16% which is the same percentage when I brought it in and plugged it in. I also charged it for hours yesterday but never checked to see the percentage. I only know it didn't charge because when I checked the app, it was already "almost dead". I did try contacting support but they are closed. They are only open for 4 hours.I really like this little camera. We installed one on the front of the house and one on the back.PROS: 1) There is a nice wide and far range of view. 2) The picture is nice and clear. 3) The camera moves 180 degrees or more. 4) There is a motion light that goes on when it detects someone. 5) There is a siren alarm that plays for a few seconds. 6) You do not need to pay for a subscription. Inserting a SD Card is sufficient which you can delete to save storage.CONS: 1) It doesn't hold the best charge even with the solar panel. 2) The motion tracker doesn't pick up very far. 3) I have to toggle between TF Card and Cloud Playback in order see what is happening in the yard and there is a delay so there seems to be a lot I can't see until the day after. 4) There is an option to play a message for intruders...although this message plays on my phone when it picks up motion versus playing outside on the camera to alert people they are trespassing on private property. 5) The motion light doesn't stay on long. 6) The instructions are absolutely AWFUL!All in all I like the camera. Could it be better? Yes. I think better would probably be a wired one that gives more flexibility with recording. This one records 24/7 but in 5-minute spurts.

Product arrived on time, Box was in amazing condition, very well packaged, super easy to install although the instructions were very limited, the only downside to the camera is that it does not support 5G so you do need A dual router. Mobile app is a little cumbersome, but easier to use on a tablet quality during the day and at night.

I bought this unit to see who was coming to the door. It works great.I had a little fun when my wife walked out on the porch and I startled her when I started talking through the machine. :) Great Price and it is so nice being notified when someone is near my door.I highly recommend this product.
