OEM desktop did not include any heatsink on the boot SSD. When adding a 2nd SSD to my system, I opted to put heatsinks on both. Package includes everything you need including thermal pads.

This M.2 SSD "Graphene Heatsink" is completely misleading. It is not a real heatsink—just a thin piece of copper-covered paper with a printed design. It does nothing for heat dissipation, making it useless for cooling an SSD. The description makes it seem like a high-performance cooling solution, but in reality, it's just a sticker. If you need actual cooling, look for a proper aluminum or copper heatsink. Do not waste your money on this.

I performed a 1.8 liter build that I was very concerned about wicking away as much heat as possible. These thermally help probably dropping components they are attached to ssd, ram by a few degrees. This espically important if you cannot use traditional heatsinks in the build. Give them a try. I believe them to be real graphene. Also, make sure of the placement is on Point before you stick them down. Removing them once applied will cause creases in the metal foil layer of the sticker
