Excuse the mess on my mantle in the attached picture but I’m moving into a new home. Said home has zero overhead lighting in the living room so I was looking for a snazzy quality floor lamp and I stumbled upon these. They’re really well made, sturdy, with a nice heavy base, and they look great. I did however anchor them to my mantle because I have children but if you don’t have kids or pets the heavy base should be more than enough to keep your lamp safely upright. They are however a bit on the pricey side but if you can get it at a good price don’t hesitate. They arrived well packed and were easy to assemble. Two thumbs way up!

I read the reviews on this lamp prior to purchase. Some of the information was helpful, but some inaccurate. The lamp shade IS glass, not plastic. The black lines connecting the pieces are called soldering not glue. It is normal for it to show, you should worry if it doesn’t. I appreciated the comments about how difficult some found it to line up the pole pattern when assembling the lamp. That fore knowledge was helpful. The pictures posted were also very helpful.I have been looking and pricing lamps for a couple of years. This lamp has one of the prettiest bases and lamp poles I have seen. The bases are heavy enough to protect the lamp from tipping (with stain glass that matters). I bought four of these lamps, and with care, we were able to line up the pole pattern perfectly on each. These lamps make a statement, and are much more impressive in person than the Amazon listing can show. They have an art deco vibe. The colors are beautiful. There is always a certain amount of variation in the color/patterns of the glass being used. Because I needed four, I was worried that the lamps might not match. Happily, I was worried for nothing.In my opinion, these lamps are a quality product. I was able to get them at such a great price, that I am still a bit shocked. I am very happy with my purchase and have no hesitation in recommending these lamps.

I've boughten the Chloe stained glass lamps before for my house. And all though they are beautiful the quality isn't great. So I decided to get the Johnathan Y peacock lamp and was pleasantly surprised at what came out of the box. This lamp is gorgeous and looks more expensive than it is. It's taller than the Chloe branded torch lamp by a few inches. The quality of the soldering and colors of the Johnathan Y lamp are superior when compared to the Chloe. I would recommend this brand in particular due to the level of detail and craftsmanship they put into all their lamps.

The six minute estimated time to assemble this sturdy, attractive lamp and shade is fairly accurate (assuming one doesn't include the lengthy time it takes to remove everything from the well packed shipping materials).Extremely pleased with purchase of this lamp, especially while it was on sale!Extra care to observe the "do not over tighten" during assembly caution is important if one wants to maintain the spiral effect from top to bottom.Highly recommend if stained glass fits in with one's lifestyle.

Very nice quality, heavy, we put it together very easily. The colors are bright and rich.

This lamp is SO cute and gives off such a nice glow! It lights the room enough for my purposes but isn't too bright. The colors and design are so vivid and look stunning when the light is turned on. Admire this lamp from a distance, though. The shade is plastic, but has the look of glass (not a deal-breaker for me). The pieces of plastic are glued together and it looks a bit messy up close, but nothing noticeable from a few feet back. It was easy to assemble, but the spiral design on the stand doesn't line up just right so you can see the seem where the two pieces meet. It's a great lamp and I'm happy I bought it. Just knocked it down one star for those minor issues.
