A lot of fun but not an easy set
I love Mould King. This is not an easy set, and it is not meant to be. This is a challenge and an exercise in understanding the workings of a vehicle. The model is amazing looking, it is meant to be a representation of a real vehicle but looks awesome even without the stickers. The instruction must be followed closely (do not put in the rear deferential backwards like I did). As far as the remote-control aspect goes it does work and will move, however it is not at a fast pace. This is more about the creation of the working systems and highlighting the functionality. Amazing build.

Cool truck
Nice build! Well thought out and detailed. The motors aren’t really necessary but there a cool feature. There’s lots of pcs so plan on spending some time for this build

Very challenging, but missing a few pieces
Very impressed with the precision of how it all went together, but somewhat disappointed that a few pieces were missing and had to MacGyver it to get it put together

Overall nice Truck. Not worth being an RC.
I don't knock the company one bit. They have some friggen cool sets and awesome prices. Take my review with a grain of salt. This took entirely too long to build from the constant second guessing of where parts are supposed to go. They book is massively thick and it does miss a few step here and there. Also the part installation when following the book doesn't work sometimes. You will have to tinker with the parts to get them together.Building note. FOLLOW THE GEARING PLACEMENT EXACTLY A SHOWN. I didn't realize this until the truck was finished ended up putting the gear in the rear differential backwards. I tried to drive it and the front wheels went forwards while the backs went backwards. Tried to make this two wheeled because it kills the battery so darn fast. No go. It is heavy and all it will do is spin the rear tires for a moment until it starts to move. Barely moves on the carpet in 2wd and it tore up the tires on the pavement. Also, when building, if it doesn't seem right. Don't overlook it because you are probably right about your gut feelings. I do have to say that it is quick. Though the steering kills it. Its SOOOOO SLOOOOOW when steering! I am trying to figure out a setup so it can turn quickly. No luck so far. Now my biggest quip about the truck. The suspension is fake. It has 8 springs on it but they cannot hold up the truck on their own. They use rubber bumpers angle-fitted to keep the truck lifted. The springs they used can hold up to about 350 grams. The L6 hard spring setup. Just too weak. They should of put the L9 hard springs on this. they can handle up to 1050 grams per spring. I tried to buy 8 of them. Almost 150$ for all of them Jeeze. I ended up getting sets made from work. Now don't get me wrong. This is a cool looking truck. Its big and quick. Though I don't recommend it as an RC set unless the steering is modified and they put an actual working suspension on it. I still recommend the Truck only for a show piece. Pretty cool Hoonigan!
