Way easier and much more reliable way to splice large wire compared to using split nuts and tape. Package comes with torque specs. Anti-corrosion grease pre-installed inside each lug. Can't beat the price and quality is A+.

These things worked great for me. Had to splice some 3/0 copper THHN. The torque specs were higher than I would have expected. I cranked them in with a torque wrench and expected them to strip or break, but they worked great. Well insulated and pre-juiced with anti-oxidant

The usual way to tap into larger conductor wires is to use split nuts which require a lot of labor and rubber tape to create a safe connection. These new style multi conductor taps are a fast way to create multiple or single taps into a power conductor..In my case, I was tapping into a 50 amp 240vac conductor which was aluminum wire which is much larger gauge than copper. I cut the lines, inserted 4 of these taps and installed a new line from these taps into a small subpanel. It worked out great, it was quick and no tape required.
