SpongeBob Comics: Deluxe Edition: Treasure Chest

The latest in the SpongeBob collection didn’t disappoint. We received it as a hardcover in a box with an extra bonus softcover comic inside. Kids have read and reread it multiple times.

The presentation of this collection with the slide out cover is beautiful. The comics themselves are excellent but I also really enjoyed the inclusion of cover art and paintings of the characters and wish I could track some of them down as prints. This would make a great gift or addition to your personal collection for any SpongeBob fan. I've been enjoying this collection and sharing it with friends since I bought it, but it felt especially poignant pulling it off the shelf today after hearing that Hillenberg had passed away and rereading about his start making educational comics for his students. The book is very big and sturdy, just be warned if you intend to give it to small children that it does include a pull out facsimile of the original first issue that could be damaged more easily than the main book. Highly recommended, one of the best investments I've made as someone who buys too many graphic novels.

I have two boys (6 and 10) who love Spongebob Comics. I'm not a fan how pricey they are when you purchase them by the issue (not to mention how quickly they fall apart!) I was so excited to see this and ordered it for Christmas. The book is hardback and has a storage case it slides out of. The pages are thick and I really think this is going to last through years of daily use. The variety of stories inside is excellent as well (I even like them!). If you have a reluctant reader, I always suggest trying comics...and Spongebob is a great place to start!

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. He loves SpongeBob and comics. He was so excited when he got this book and is always reading it. It keeps him off of all electronics and is improving his reading comprehension at the same time.

Bought this for my son last Christmas and let me tell you he loves it!!!! If you are thinking of buying it as a gift you won’t regret it!! My son is 9 and enjoys to read these comics. He is a spongebob fan and fell in love with this immediately!!!

So far so cool! I love to just go to random pages to look at all the different art styles. The writing and drawing is perfect for fans of Spongebob. I love this!

I bought it for my 7 yo son who loves SpongeBob and have to say the product description doesnt do its justice. First of all the comic book is proper A4 format (so probably 1/3 bigger than the usual format). Its a hardcover but also comes with the hard sleeve that is double sided (Patrick and SB). Also as an extra comes with the first edition of the monthly SB comic book so another 32 pages of content). Definitely would buy again and very very surprised as was expecting another normal edition Brilliant
