We had bought these to place on the windows in our toddler's room because there was a bit of a draft as well as noise getting into the room. The previous owners did not have the windows sealed very well, but hey, the house was a good deal. Anyways, once I stuck these on the inside of the window, you could immediately tell the difference. If I put my ear close enough, I no longer heard any air getting in, nor did I feel it. Additionally, we lived by tracks, which meant it could be pretty loud. These strips significantly cut down on the noise that was being let in. The adhesive is super sticky and isn't just going to peel itself off and fall on the floor. These turned out to be weather-proofing, and noise-proofing. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to seal up any leaky windows or gaps you may have.

These strips are easy to install and effective at reducing drafts. There is an added bonus in that it also keeps out bugs.

This is an excellent product for the cost. The adhesive will not adhere to cold metal! So as others have mentioned, make sure you warm the surface before applying. Once applied, it sticks wonderfully. Already can notice a difference on a big 3'x5' window in my bedroom that was very drafty.Would buy and recommend.Hints - Take off adhesive covering as you apply, Not all at once. It slides off easily when pulled from underneath. Allowing you to hold in place and remove to adhere.

I thought this was a waste of money considering other draft stoppers. It didn't adhere that well and didn't fit tightly.

The MOPMS Draft Stopper Sweep has proven to be a regrettable purchase (although I returned the item). The poor design, ineffective draft blocking, and difficult installation (too thick does not fit) make it unsuitable for its intended purpose. It's also expensive given the length of the item. It does not provide the weatherproofing benefits promised, resulting in a significant disappointment. I strongly advise considering alternative options for effective draft stoppage and window sealing. A 1-star rating reflects my dissatisfaction with this product.

I used it to better seal the outdoor side of a window cat door. I needed to have a bit more rain/weather barrier. It worked great.

I live in a 100+ year old home with very outdated windows and bad insulation, so it gets very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. And, of course, my bedroom faces a busy street which is downwind from a biker bar, so I hear them all drive home at 2am on the weekends, which doesn't do my insomnia any favors. I've tried other types of window insulation but nothing ever worked, so i resorted to ducttaping my windows shut with a layer of bubble wrap inside. It helped, but looked awful and I could not open my windows for emergencies or nice days. I just installed this weather stripping and i want to cry (in a good way). I bought it so that my bedroom would stay cooler this summer, but the instant silence is why I immediately had to come write a review. I cannot emphasize how much of a relief it brings. I feel like I finally have some privacy and comfort. I can still hear the outside world, but it's so much quieter. I'll update in a couple months once we've had some more hot days and say whether or not it did it's job of sealing the window well. My only small complaint is that it doesn't come in white, but if it's gonna work this well then who cares!Note: Installation was simple, I cut it to size and heated the glue on the strips with a hair drier as recommended and it seems extremely sturdy.

Firstly, the value of this product is not great. The quality is lacking, with poor adhesion and overall construction. I found that it didn't stick well to my door frame, which defeated the purpose of using it for weatherproofing.Secondly, the length of the strip is quite short. I expected a longer piece to cover my door adequately, but I ended up needing to purchase additional strips to fully seal the gaps around my door and windows.For such a short length, I think it is overpriced.

My house I am renting. Vancouver b.c. 1700 3 bedroom huge back yard pre covid prices 4 now. Soon to be 3k for this dump. Every door frame has a huge gap. Twisted house, so nothing even. I started singing this 70% cut sound, do both sides j sweat could probably reach 85/90%. Started renting out bedrooms so added to mine. Amazing. Did about a 85% of door on one side with 2 orders... so ot would take 3 orders to complete one side or 5 for double side of door. Even try war movies and 80% of one side made it hard to hear in other bedrooms. I also got the 2 for one door steip off amazon. Works amazing even for re-sticking because of mess ups. In the future if it comes loos il add screws or silicon for extra durability. For now it seams too hold and is worth the money. Buy lots you wonder regret it, seriously.

This came in a few days. It was easy to install and I've already saved on my gas bill. Great service great product.

3rd time buying it, and a fourth coming. Great for controlling a single room regarding temperature, noise, humidity, insects, etc. Would always recommend. UPDATE - 6 months later and still really glad I this product

The tape and glue come off together and not easily so it then won’t stick so basically useless. :(
