Sometimes the packaging tells you that you have purchased a really good quality product eg Apple iPhones etc. In this case good quality packaging concealed the worst product I have purchased from Amazon in a long time. The other five star reviews are a mystery to me! Never! I don't believe them, this thing is a load of rubbish!Firstly it is made out of the semi rigid plastic that you would find on an A4 project file cover. This then clips together with metal poppers. It is a flat pack, like a cardboard box that needs making up. The edges/corners are held in place with the metal poppers, the same sort of fixings you would find on a coat pocket flap.I started to clip the poppers together and on a critical corner the popper kept popping open.Even if the popper wasn't faulty, I seriously question the usefulness of this so called studio. The white and black backed background mat is equally yucky.I have said it before about other nasty designs and I will say it again, If you bought this in a 99p store you would still be disappointed. Don't waste your time or money on this nasty poor quality piece of tat!

The build quality of the box is questionable. Once you for it away in the carry case, as it's designed to do, then it's very difficult to get it back to a rigid and solid shape. It always feels a bit wonky and I could never get it stand upright and solid. Also the distance between the to hold and the base is apparently not designed properly as the phone camera's field of view dues not correlate to an A4 sheet of paper place on the base as you would expect in a product marketed as a scanner studio

cool box for a piece of plastic. I hope it's more durable than my plastic file case. great help for small object photos though. would be improved by being a little bigger and with option to fit high intensity LED strips.

Compact and easy to assemble. This photo studio comes in a handy case, it's compact and easy to store away. It's simple an easy to assemble and a good quality product. I haven't used it for scanning as yet but it's ideal for small object photos.

I've been using it to photograph jewellery, and finally I am able to take some great, clear photos. I put it on my windowsill to maximise the light, and it all stores away very neatly.
