Apparently Amazon is combining the reviews for different RAK tools together. This is a review of the Pliers. Length 5 ¾”. Weighs a little over 6 oz. Comes with a sheath. Pliers can be locked closed, which stops the spring. Pliers fit nicely in the hand. Gerber and NexTool could learn a lesson here. The blade and all tools lock. The main blade and tools are roughly 2” long, and hard to open. I oiled them, and that didn’t help much. The main blade is hard to get to! The serrated edge (not the saw) is not sharp – I sharpened it. The surface on the file is only 1 ¼” long – that’s emergencies only. This is not a practical tool you are likely to use on a regular basis, nor an EDC, but it makes for a good backup one-piece-toolkit for a remote location, or an emergency tool. Would be a better tool if it was easier to get to the main blade. Would be a better tool if it didn’t include the saw blade. Sure would be nice if the serrated edge was pre-sharpened. This compares roughly to a Leatherman Rev. The RAK does not have the quality of a Leatherman, but is less than half the price. At $22, the RAK is a good deal for the price.

Good for what it is and handy

Came in good-looking packaging. Like the various different tools and carry pouch seems made of good quality material (though the tool did have some wiggle room inside the pouch; not sure if that’ll change over time). Lots of times multitool pliers are not very good. These ones so far work well. I think one of the best parts is the locking mechanisms that allow you to lock the pliers close and another one to lock knives/tools open which makes it much safer to operate than multi tool sets that don’t lock.

He was surprised that he got them . Very sturdy made the lock it like child proof on it. Design very well great job

These are very interesting. The only thing I found so far is that they are not very comfortable in my hands but doesn’t mean they don’t fit others hands. I needed a pair of needle nose style pliers and they worked very well.

The tool was exactly what I wanted to get.
