Excellent product. Works very well
I use these to do heat inserts for my 3-D prints for critical parts that are for an engineering company. This requires precise temperature controls and accuracy which I was able to achieve especially by using the included tool tips. I was very happy about the presentation about this product and how easy it is to use and most important how fast it speed heats up, very easy to assemble and everything fit perfectly

Works well
Got this explicitly for heat insert use for 3D printing, and it has worked excellent with PLA. The temperature controls seem reasonable, heats up reasonably fast, and it's simple and easy to use. I've only had it for a few months but a great value so far.

Its survived hell with me.
Ive put this thing through the ringer. So far i would estimate about 800+ uses and its still going strong. I typically only have it on for 15-20 minutes and the included tips work great for most of the Amazon threaded inserts. This one is not special but it works perfectly for what I bought ug for. Would buy again if it breaks.

Nice iron for soldering and brass insert installation
Perfect for soldering projects. Just as good for inserting brass retainers in 3d printed projects. Quality is good and iron heats up quickly. Nice to have temp displayed. Helps when inserting brass inserts. Nice selection of soldering tips and brass insert heat tips

Good product for the money
It is really hard to beat the cost to features ration on this soldering iron. I have used it to plastic weld, heat thread insert, and solder. Great cost to feature ratio. There are obviously better ones, but as a starting "fancier" soldering iron that fills multiple roles, I have been pleasantly surprised.

Great for 3D printing
Heats up quickly to desired temp, I haven't checked it, but accurate enough for heat set inserts. Brass tips are all accurate to the inserts I use, and the tip is long enough that I can set it on a stand with the insert on it and let it heat up a bit before using it.

Works great and surprisingly accurate
I'm actually amazed this thing works as well as it does. I bought this mainly for doing threaded inserts for 3D printing but also to replace my very old aging Radio Shack 15w soldering iron. This thing is small, easy to use, and most importantly versatile. I haven't touched that old radio shack one and I'm probably going to throw it out at this point since even if this on dies I'd just buy another. My friend has a big fancy $140 soldering iron and I'd put this little thing up against it any day.

Ok system
Nice set, first time using one of the tip came off and was stuck inside of the PLA I needed a small hole in.

I use this tool for inserting heat inserts into 3d-printed parts, using its dedicated tips for various insert diameters. It does a perfect job if you get a bit of practice. You need to push the tool perfectly perpendicular to the part's surface (vertically) and push continuously with a steady hand, paying attention to the sinking insert. (The diameter of the hole provided by design in the part is aslo a matter of practice.) The tool heats up fast, under a minute, and allows a precise control of the temperature through its digital display. I did not use it yet for soldering, but it definitelly does a good job for heat inserts.

No hay mucho que comentar. Lo bueno son las puntas para insertar tuercas. Yo hubiera pagado con gusto poco mas si hubieran incluído un pequeño estuche.

I used this to install brass inserts into a 3d printed trophy I made, so that it could be disassembled for transport. It worked perfectly. I haven't used it as a soldering iron yet, but it heats up extremely quickly and also cools down fast as well so I can't see any reason it wouldn't work for that unless you were trying to heat-sink a very large part where it couldn't keep up the temperature. But for fine electronics work there should be no issue.
