I use this lamp more than I do my overhead room light. Its multiple colors help to set any mood (Awake/Alert, Sleepy/Rest... Other activities~) and it made my room look so cool that my roommate got one for their room and we also have a similar but longer light in the living room. This was the light that started it all and I would recommend it any time! PS, I also find this more mature than the LED light strips that a lot of people decorate their spaces with. No shade to those that do but this kind of light seems to be the better version of those strips for intimate spaces.

Very pretty and bright just wish stand was more stable. (Personally I just need to find a better place to keep from knocking over) I keep it in a basket so it doesn’t tip.

I got this lamp to help with toy photography, to give a sense of atmosphere, and it works well for that purpose. It's very easy to set up and use, and the light shines brightly. The app connected and worked flawlessly as soon as I downloaded and fired it up. It responds instantly to changes in color, brightness, and temperature. It also has a number of unexpected features in addition to color changing, such as a pulsing "candlelight" effect. Surprisingly, the app even has a responsive mode that alters the lamp's color to match or complement what your phone camera sees. For example, if you point it at a blue bag and capture that, the light will turn blue. Additionally, there's a cinema mode to turn it into a responsive TV backlight if so desired by aiming your phone camera at the screen. You can also play music on your phone and have the color change in response to the song. All of these features work really well, although I'm not sure how much the phone battery would drain over extended use, so you may want to have the device plugged in if you're watching a movie or binging a show or something. Be aware that there is a ring at the edge of the circular light, which makes sense as it's a "sunset" lamp. Nevertheless, you can of course play around with the setup if you don't want the edge to show up in a photo. Overall, this is actually a really nifty gadget for the money! Better than expected!
