My kids have been learning so many words and I like that I don’t have to try to figure out how to say it and I can just press the QR code and it has an audio for you to learn how to say it. Super basic awesome for beginners. If your kids are in elementary and still learning basics, it’s easier for them to learn basics and other language languages also. Just my personal take.

Love this book, with the categories with picture and english+chinese texts. It’s difficult to find a book with traditional chinese so I really appreciate this. Now my partner can randomly say things like coffee, water, hot water etc.. lol only thing is that these are written in chinese mandarin so as a Taiwanese wife, I needed to make some personal notes.

Kids love it! Useful when they want to learn a word or two in Chinese

Has both Chinese calligraphy and pronunciation. Attractive illustrations. Can't say how correct it is as I do not speak Chinese.

My daughters 3 and 5 year old love reading and listening to it at night before bedtime

The Chinese characters are printed in a thick block font that makes complex characters illegible. My son could not even recognize the simplest characters.Compare this to the font used in the Mandarin Picture Dictionary from Tuttle. Even though the font size is much smaller the characters are easy to recognize even for complex characters.

This has been awesome. The kiddo wanted to learn Mandarin so we got him this. It’s really fun, our whole family gets together to learn new words.
