Quality Product ... very durable!
These laces are awesome! They came in the exact size I ordered. They are extremely tough and show no signs of falling apart after several months of use. Finally I can properly lace my boots without making numerous knots. I will buy from this company again.

Great laces, but not for all boots
First, I have to say, these laces are heavy-duty. Very thick, and very strong. They're a great replacement for worn-out or poor-quality stock laces. They also grip very well and, when the correct size is ordered, only require a single bow to make them short enough. They're very grippy, although they may require a secondary knot on top to ensure they are secure through heavy use, as many boot laces do. The only bad aspect is that their thickness can create a major problem fitting them to some boots. I had a very difficult time fitting the ends through the eyelets of my Lowa Renegade GTX boots. I got them through, but not without considerable effort. Some people may not be able to get them through at all. They also require a bit more care in lacing up to ensure they are securely in the hooks. I notice that other reviewers have complained about the ends unraveling. I did not experience this. Mine were solid despite having to be forced through the eyelets. However, I will note that this is a common problem with many laces, particularly as they get older. The solution is simple and works for all laces: cauterize the ends with a lighter. All in all, they're an excellent lace, and a great replacement for the horrible laces that came with my boots. I should have replaced them long ago.

Very good product but be aware of 1 issue I had
I did a 23 mile winter backpacking trip and when I got home my boot laces tore in 2 places (for once Murphy's law didn't apply!). I ordered these and they are the perfect size for my pac boots and they stay tied. I've only used them on my boots a dozen times so far so can't comment on durability. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is one of the ends, for each of the laces, was larger in diameter than the other end. On many, regular shoestring eyelet holes this probably wouldn't be a problem. But on my boots, they have raised, metal, oblong eyelets for the bottom 5 pair. I couldn't get the larger end through the bottom 5 eyelets without pulling them through with a pliers (the other end of the laces went through fine). The top 5 are simply hooks and obviously aren't an issue. If I was on the trail, I would've had a very difficult time lacing my boots since I don't carry a pliers. I was going to order a 2nd backup pair but I'm going to consider another product because of this issue.

So far, so good...
I've only been using them for about a week but I'm very pleased at this point. Replaced my old laces perfectly, slid right through the eyelets and work well on the speed - lace section of my boots. I tie them once and they stay tied! That may not seem like a big deal but I have tried other brands of laces that I've had to bend down to either retie or tighten several times a day. I bought two pairs of this (60") size and two 72" for my trail boots. I'm looking forward to putting some miles on them. Oh... not generally a big concern of mine but they look good too!

Not great quality
I bought these laces to replace the ones that came with my boots several years ago. I was looking for something cheap and basic to replace what I had, but I didn't realize that the laces I had on my previous boots were actually of decent quality. These laces are your basic black lace. They aren't particularly thick, they don't have an inner core (at least not a big one), but they do the job. I bought the 60 inch laces for my short boots (like a high-top shoe with 2 set of hooks above the ankle) and they fit well. I'm only giving 3 stars because they are already starting to fray a little about 2 weeks after purchase. I expect I will have to replace them in a few months, but then again they only cost a few dollars.

Great Laces For Boots
These laces were replacements for my original laces on Timberland boots. The 60" length is the perfect replacement, and the design of the laces is great. The laces are heavy and sturdy and feel like they will last a long time. The only downside to this whole deal was the price, which was about twice the suggested price shown on the packaging. I highly recommend these if you are looking for good boot laces. The ends are sealed with the plastic as you would expect them to be.

Much Better Than the Original Laces!
I LOVE these laces! I have a pair of Wenger boots that I purchased from Eddie Bauer about two years ago. The laces were about the break in a couple of places, so I looked online to see what was available. When I saw these, which were round like the originals, but a brown & black stripe, I thought they would be perfect, since the boots are a very dark brown. Anyway, they are super! The color combo is great with the leather, and they are really sturdy. FIVE STARS!!
