very cute looking shoes but only for looks. were purchased for my daughter, she weighs about 150 pounds. these shoes fall apart like a pancake under the weight. they do not have a step and the heel twists in different directions. this is a breathable sole made of very soft foam materialthere is no metal plate that holds the sole and the heel spins in different directions and sticks out like a marshmallow

I love the way these shoes look. They fit my (4E wide) wide feet. They, are not, however, made for long term wearing. There is no arch support. I can deal with that as I wear them mostly for church. My biggest complaint is that the hook and loop tape does not hold even when walking a few steps. I'm going to fix this by attaching snaps. I'm not sending them back as the fix requires a little work and I'm truly lazy when it comes to returning items. Just a small buyer beware. Otherwise, I do love these shoes.

Finally settled on our third pair. The first pair was way too big though we ordered her typical size. The second pair was a half size down and still too big. The third pair (another half size down) is closer to a decent fit, but still a little off-kind of wide and high while being the correct length. We got two pairs with buckle closure and one with Velcro. The Velcro closure strap was overly long. The buckles worked out better. The soles of these shoes are not rubber, so the grip isn’t as good as you might think. The upper portion of the pair we finally chose to keep is dented in on the top. It doesn’t interfere with wear, but it’s noticeable. We will try to fix it. Quality control seems to be a bit of an issue with these. The style is really cute though.
