Great for my 8 y/o w/ASD & ADHD to jump on his trampoline indoors
I know, I know, this isn't exactly what this product was intended for, but it's PERFECT for our needs! Our son has autism and ADHD and ALLLLLLL the energy and sensory needs that come along with them. And yes, we have a full size trampoline, but when weather isn't ideal for being outdoors, the indoor mini tramp and this plyobox are an absolute life saver! He is able to jump first thing in the morning before school and in the evening before bath and any time he needs a little jumping stimulation or energy release. The combo has been magical and his behavior is vastly improved since providing him with a little indoor jumping outlet that is safer than jumping off our piano into a pile of pillows like he used to do, or off of the stairs onto the trampoline. I love that the box has 3 different heights to choose from. It's extremely sturdy while being incredibly light weight, which is great because he can move it around on his own. The vinyl fabric of the zip cover is not only very grippy for our hardwood and porcelain tile floors, but it's easy to wipe clean when needed. It's also compact enough to be easily stored in a closet when we need it out of the way. I know we haven't used it as it was intended to be use, but I can tell you this; if it's sturdy enough for our boy who uses it for hours a day, it will work great for you to practice your box jumps in your home gym. I feel very secure letting him jump and climb and play all over it. Great product at a fair price! And yes, I paid full price for this!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful! Please feel free to ask any questions.

Your Next 3-Way Plyo Box
This plyo box is 1) affordable (much cheaper than Rogue Fitness) 2) durable (removable cover for cleaning) 3) adaptable (three surfaces sizes) 4) sturdy (heavy so it won’t move easily during moves) 3) minimal (no huge visible branding, B&W matches any room). This is your next and last 3-way plyo box!

Great box!
Build quality, size, functionality, design and ease of use are all great! Safety wise im not totally sure if it's 100 perfect safe as the material is like a wrestling mat material that can get slippery if it's wet. It's also pretty light and if you jump on the edge and not middle it'll definitely flip. I do like that it's light weight and easy to move around. The material also makes it easy to clean.

Box jumps without skinned shins
I bought 2 of the heavy (60lb) BalanceFrom3 foam box jumps with the goal that my 2 sons can incorporate these into their basketball training program (their goal is to dunk this summer). I previously had wooden boxes that my older son and husband made, but we threw them out when we moved and my older son still has a scar on his shin from when he missed the jump using the wooden boxes. In hopes of avoiding more skinned shins and scars, I bought these. I watched my 2 boys use them repeatedly yesterday, and while my younger son missed one of the tall jumps and hit his shin on the corner, there was no scraped shin because it's made of solid foam. The boxes are heavy to move... my older son (aged 18) can move one by himself, but my younger son (aged 17) needs help - but two people can easily move a box. Stacking 2 of them on top of each other is quite sturdy. I was worried without Velcroing the 2 boxes together, that they would slide and fall, but this was not an issue at all. The boys stacked both boxes outside in the middle of a sport court (without any wall support) and repeatedly jumped up and down without the boxes sliding or moving. (I was prepared to buy Velcro and put it on the boxes myself, but luckily I do not need to do this!) I was also prepared to wait one month for shipping, because when I added the 2 boxes to my Amazon cart, it said shipping would be one month. However, they arrived in less than one week (even during the quarantine when shipping is delayed!) The price for the 2 boxes could not be beat compared to other foam box jump systems on the market when I was researching them online. Time will tell how the boxes hold up, but they seem super sturdy and I'm happy that I convinced my husband that we should just buy these instead of making wooden boxes again. These are safer on the shins!

Good value foam only box
I was originally looking for a heavy foam box with a wooden core, but this one came in at a much better price so I decided to try it out. I definitely wanted the heavier version as I don’t really feel comfortable on the lighter sub-20 lbs boxes due to stability. It is easy to slide around my garage gym. I also wanted the official height of 24” for Hyrox, CrossFit, and I believe Deka Fit.As with all 20x24x30 Plyo boxes, the lower the higher the height you are jumping, the less surface area there is to land on, and the less stable it is. It’s just common sense. The issue here is if you land on or close to the edge, the box can start to give as there is significant compression of the foam- something wooden boxes do not do. That said, the box has never fallen over on me, I just need to do a little balance adjustment. With fatigue, this becomes more difficult though.I like to use the box for heavy dumbbell presses on the 20” height because the wider surface can support my arms where a bench forces me to drop below the plane of my body. I find it safe for heavier weights. I also like to use the box for thrusts, because the foam is softer than my bench. I use the 20” height for this as well, but note I am 5’8”, and taller folks might prefer the 24” side. The box seems pretty sturdy and the material covering the foam is strong, but only time will tell. When I jump on it with shoes, it leaves a temporary print of my outsole. The print resets with every landing so I wouldn’t worry about it.Overall, a very good Plyo box with good heft and slight stability issues for edge landings. It is also a very good value, but if you can swing it, I would try a foam box with a wooden core.
