What a wonderful large 3 pound assortment of both sweet and salty snacks from Nuts.com!I had never heard of 'half popped popcorn' before - but boy is it good!Everything was very fresh and tasty. The nuts thankfully were not loaded with added salt for those of you watching your salt consumption!It came nicely packed in a wooden tray and this would be a wonderful gift for anyone who likes to snack or to bring to a party.

When I first opened this item I was quite thrown by the “contains lead” sticker on the bottom of the tray the snacks are packed in. I went on the nuts dot com website and read their statement about how ALL food has lead and other heavy metals present in small quantities and that the FDA does not find the minute amounts of heavy metals found in their products to be harmful. Whew.So with that out of the way we tried all these delicious gluten free treats! It was all really yummy except I thought the almonds tasted a bit stale. My husband and daughter both disagreed and said the almonds were also good so take that as you will. My favorite snack was the dried strawberries (they tasted like strawberry candy, which makes sense because they were made with added sugar, like all the included dried fruits) as well as the cashews. The most unique snack was the dried chick peas and my husband ate those up quite quickly in the space of a week, so I guess they are a good snack as well!This would be a nice treat to send to someone, especially if they’re gluten free as there is a nice variety of snacks and they all come well packaged in an attractive gift tray.

I was excited to try this variety set but when it got here, it just wasn’t very fresh and the stuff just did not taste very well. I wouldn’t recommend getting this for a gift not the best quality and they really don’t taste good.

I don’t like to send gifts sight unseen so I ordered this gift set to try myself first and if it was good I would send as Easter gifts, although it really could be sent for any occasion. My first impression was how nice it looked, and how heavy, with each item in the selection individually bagged. The wooden tray was plain and not a distraction from the variety of products it held. There’s was a little damage on the tray at one corner where it had separated showing the nail that held it together. I was able to push it back together but only once I had removed the shrink wrap. With the wrap gone I was able to inspect each bag carefully. The dried strawberries and pineapple had added sugar and the apricots had a warning “may contain pits and/or fragments. The color of the strawberries was not at all vibrant. The quality of the nuts and cranberries was impressive, the roasted salted almonds and roasted salted cashews were a large size. I’ve never had half popped popcorn so I’m looking forward to that. I was surprised that the nutritional facts were not on each bagged item as obviously they are going to be vastly different from each other and especially of interest if you are watching your diet for any reason. I thought perhaps there would be nutritional values for each bagged item inside the tray under the straw but there was not. However, there was a generalized label on the shrink wrap which I had to retrieve as I had already discarded it. See my picture for more detail but obviously 1 ounce serving of nuts is going to be different from popcorn or dried fruit and that was not addressed. Next and I don’t know if this is a thing on this type of gift but it’s a preference that’s important to me and something I was looking for and couldn’t find. Nowhere on the external or individual packages was a date. No “best by”, “no expiration“, no “packaged” no date anywhere. I really want to know the freshness, and how soon the products need to be consumed, how old they are, etc. There was the remnants of a label on the bottom of the wooden tray that may have reference the tray only but why remove it and leave some evidence behind. I realize this could be just me but this has made this whole package suspect. Perhaps it’s not a thing and of no importance to you reading this but I find this very off putting. To present this as a gift I need to wholeheartedly believe in it and given my doubts and the price point I cannot happily do so. I will not be ordering any more.

This fruit and nuts snack tray comes absolutely loaded with dried fruit and nuts! And the quality of the fruit and nuts is excellent. Everything is so fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented on the tray! I'd never tried half-popped popcorn or roasted chickpeas before and they were excellent. This company gives generous portions and then carefully and beautifully packages everything into a ready-to-use serving tray. I'm a huge fan of anything nuts.com does and they once again outdid themselves with this tray!

This large fruit and nut tray is great to make healthier snack choices, for families, and perfect as a gift. It comes with a wooden tray, and a variety of 8 individually wrapped fruits and nuts: apricots, pineapple, strawberry, cranberries, almonds, cashews, chickpeas and half popped popcorn (which was my first time trying popcorn that way). All tastes really good, not too sweet or too salty, just right, but pricey for sure. On the Amazon product description page it tells you to store in a cool and dry place for up to 6 months and it's ok to refrigerate, I imagine the date count starts at the moment of shipping.

I am a big fan of Nuts.com and order their snacks frequently. This is a great selection of dried fruits and nuts. Everything is fresh as usual, and the half-popped popcorn is especially unique and tasty. Each type of snack is individually sealed so they won’t get all mixed up or start going stale the moment you open the package. The price is a bit high, but otherwise this is a great choice for snacking or gifting.

I’m not so much into the dry fruit. The cranberry were really good and they have a variety that I’ve never had before and was fun to try. I loved those have popped corn kernels. Perfect snack.
