If you're looking for a boys soccer team lost in a cave in Thailand, then this is the headlamp to get. It's BRIGHT AF!
Note: the clips in the pictures don't come with the headlamp, I bought them separate. I added the tape as well, not because of any flaw in the lamp but because I don't like my sh|t to move or rattle on me; I also have my head in tight quarters bumping into things so no matter what headlamp I use, I'd be taping it up to secure it solid.I'm currently working with a construction and am often in tight or dark places where I need a bright headlamp or flashlight. The headlamp I had used AAA batteries but I couldn't tell if the batteries were old or if the lamp just wasn't strong enough. So I searched for the most powerful one I could get my hands on, that had a reasonable price. This DanForce is so bright, it's just short of a friggin' light saber. It's too bright! Even on the lowest setting (the two side bulbs) it's bright af!The good: it's bright as hell, it has a rechargeable battery that you just plug in at the end of the day, the batteries that came with the lamp lasted all day. I didn't have the lamp on all day, but it was a good half of a 10 hour day. Sadly, I purchased two additional battery packs that I'll probably never use since the batteries that came with it are strong as hell. The pivot system is excellent. When I change the angle of the headlamp I can feel a solid "click" as it locks into place; something I like. I believe there are 4-5 different angles, very well designed. The casing is solid. It came with colored discs, which I don't need and don't know why anyone would use them, but it's still an option. And when the lamp is on, the battery pack has a dim glowing light that's handy for other workers to know where you're at, in the event something on a construction site kills you and you end up face down in the mud with your light submerged; I like to think it's a value add safety feature. I like the spiral wire going from the battery to the headlamp. It just looks and feels more industrial to me, like I'm ready for hard work. The bad: It's too damn bright. Literally, you will burn someone' retina off if you flash them with this lamp. So I'm always having to either angle it up, above people's heads or turn it off. I had to take a black Sharpie to the lenses to decrease the brightness. I work indoors, so maybe it's better for workers outside; if you work outside, then this is the headlamp to get. I don't like having to flip through all 4 light settings to turn it off; but this is a complaint of mine for all head lamps. There should be two buttons: an on/off button and a settings button so all you have to do is push one button once to power on or off. But nobody ever thinks to make this. Lastly, it's rather heavy. After 10 hours a day of having this on with a hard hat, it starts to ache. But, it comes with having the power to burn through metal.I would have given the light 4 stars, but they don't deserve it. It's a solid piece of equipment and I will definitely get it again, if needed. And If I ever need to go looking for a boys soccer team lost in a cave in Thailand, then this is the headlamp to get. I wouldn't even look at anything else.I'm also a biker (bicycle) with 3 tail lights and one bright headlight. I don't wear a headlamp when biking, but if you do, I HIGHLY suggest getting this headlamp to keep idiot drivers aware of your existence. Stay safe, stay bright af!

Let There Be Light!
Great light for the price. This Headlamp is much brighter than the typical AAA battery powered units I was accustomed to. As others have mentioned, the battery compartment cover leaves a bit to be desired. It’s just a silicone snap on lid essentially but it’s never come loose and once it’s on your head, the batteries can’t fall out or come loose due to the headband pressure helping keep the cover in place, minor issue overall. Also, this light is nowhere close to 6,000 lumens. That being said, it is still very bright and the output compairs to some of my high end flashlights rated in the 800-1,000 Lumen range. If I had to guess, I’d say the seller meant to list it as 600 Lumen’s, not 6,000. The headlamp is comfortable and very practical for a variety of applications. I’ve worn it for hours at a time and almost forget I have it on after a while. The output from any of the 3 settings is more than enough light for any tasks I would run across. If anything, the low setting should be lower so you can use it to read, or for walking around at night in a situation where you want the minimum light possible while still being able to see where you are going so as not to disturb night vision too much. It’s a sub $40 headlamp including at least $6-8 worth of low end 18650 batteries so those reviews complaining of build quality need to consider the cost and performance. It is a plastic housing light but seems sturdy considering the materials used. Does it feel indestructible?, no. Does it work much better than its price would indicate?, absolutely. If this light holds up for a year or two, I would feel like I definitely got my money’s worth. The battery’s they provide work fine, but if you want ultimate run times, brightness, and reliability, simply pick up a set of Orbtronic 3500 mah 18650 batteries and you will add 2hrs or more of runtime on the high setting just from the battery upgrade. If you want a light that you depend on with your life and that can handle 30ft drops, this probably isn’t for you. If you want an amazingly bright, adjustable hotspot, with great runtime, comfort, and great price point, BUY THIS!
