big heavy piece of plastic with prominent ridge to protect work phone, seems really heavy and strong, Ive dropped teh phone a few times and nothing damaged

Got this for my son's new iPhone 8. Very easy to fit, feels very good quality. Hopefully won't have to find out, but feels like it would offer a lot of protection. Couldn't believe it turned up on my door step less than 2 days after ordering from US. Excellent service.

I drop my phone and smash it usually all the time. Had this case for over a year and not smashed my phone once. One of the few cases that properly protects the screen not just the back of the phone. You can also put stickers on it to decorate and they stay on pretty well.

Had one of these for just over two years and was disappointed when the charging port cover broke. I looked for alternative but was not able to find one offering the same level of protection so I purchased another.

The lightening socket bung attachment fails fairly quickly if pulled out regularly for charging. The rubber attaching bung to body not sturdy enough. Not withstanding this failing it does a great job of protecting phone when dropped on hard ground.

LOVE the Defender Otterbox ,definitely the best protection for your IPhone7 or I phone 8 .Stunning design and lovely Neon Orange colour surround .Hopefully will live up to expectations ,But Well pleased and arrived from the USA in approx 10 days to UK .

I’ve always had this type of cover for my first iPhones, but for the 7 only black ever seemed available which I bought but kept loosing it around the house because it never stood out. Now at last colours have arrived and my grey/light blue cover sticks out like a sore thumb. Great. When I sell my phones I remove the defender box and the phone is in perfect condition, I’ve always got top money - earns its keep.

Third otter prhone product and great as usual, love that my phone is safe if dropped by my granddaughter when playing a game on it.

This is my second Otterbox, and the only reason I replaced my old one is because I bought a new phone. The Defender series does just what you would expect it to do. I'm accident prone and have arthritis, so I tend to drop things. The Otterbox has always protected my phone perfectly, and the gripper-type texture makes it easy to hold on to. I love having screen protection that I don't have to apply, as it is part of the case itself. The colour is even nicer in person, not a teal or navy blue, but somewhere in between.

I have had 3 Strokes and drop my phone repeatedly. I have dropped in down two flights of cement stairs bouncing like a basketball and my phone has always been perfectly fine! Never have had a broken screen or phone. I have been using Otterbox since the first IPhone and this particular case is the most durable for me. Amazon has the best prices for Otterbox as they rarely ever go on sale at the Retail Stores! This Otterbox for my new IPhone would have cost me $85 including tax at the store with very few options of different colours. Otter boxes are the best instance you can buy for your phone. You can sell your phone which is mint because it is rarely taken out to clean it from your Otterbox and you can sell the Otterbox with your phone for an additional $40 to $50. We upgrade quite frequently in this house as my 23 year old Son upgrades his IPhone and also uses a thinner Otterbox which is extremely sturdy and he also has never had a cracked screen or chipped or broken phone. He also sells his case with his phone and it is a nice bonus to get some money back and have more than enough to purchase a new Otterbox on Amazon! I highly recommend Otterbox and purchasing on Amazon for the substantially cheaper price.
