An old standard- just wish it still came in just two pieces (lid and base). Took some time to put together but seems sturdy enough. Good size for toddler- doesn’t overwhelm backyard. Also appears to handle rain very well

Love love love! My kids would spend every waking minute in their sand box if I let them. It’s such a fun toy but I do with it were bigger. It’s perfect for one child but small for two. It’s super functional because of the lid. We can just keep our toys in it and we know they’re safe overnight. It’s pretty durable because my kids have used it for a month now and it still looks brand new.

Do not buy this turtle unless you like to torture yourself putting things together. Whoever designed this needs fired. I am someone who is pretty good at putting together toys and furniture and typically enjoy it. But this is just frustrating and does not snap together.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Remembered this product from my children's childhood and loved the fact there was a cover to protect the sand. Initially "PawPaw" had a difficult time putting together but we tag teamed and it was seamless. We used two bags of 25lb sand to start and set it in place. Best part? My 18month grandson said "WOW" when he saw it - priceless

Once we finally got it together it was good. It was challenging to align the snaps and to keep them together. Added 2 (50 lb) bags of sand and it was a good amount. Looks like it will hold a third bag if you want to fill all the way. Ideally for a toddler, young preschooler but anything older may want more space.

Kiddos absolutely love this sandbox. Great bang for your buck. Can fit 2 toddlers in it comfortably but a little small. We use it in our garage so we don’t have to worry about rain. The lid is screwed together so I don’t know how well that would keep water out. Sand also falls out through the bottom of the turtle where it comes together so that’s a little frustrating. My kids love it though.

Was super excited to get this for my kiddo, but unfortunately the design of this sandbox did not allow the pieces to fit together and it was a little harder to put together than it should have been. Also, it is very small... the four "seats" don't make a lot of sense to me as maybe two kids can play in it and have just enough room. At the end of the day, it holds the sand and allows a kid to play in it. The lid did not fit on very securely either.

These sandboxes were SOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER back in the day when they were TWO pieces. Base and lid.This new design is ridiculous and confusing and time consuming to assemble. WHAT WAS LITTLE TIKES THINKING??!! TWELVE pieces and a ton of screws. Unbelievable.They need to bring back the original style. No one should have to spend an hour just to use the sandbox!!
