Nice match set specifically for survival kits, windproof, and waterproof comes with a very nice compact container easy to find due to the color. We recommend everybody have a set in case you do get lost in need assistance with fire building or other things. Overall good value for the cost.

I have used these matches for over a year now and have had great success with them. They are very robust matches that have a waterproof coating, have an extended burn time and are nearly impossible to put out once lit. I think the biggest plus they have going for them is that they can be used in windy conditions without your ignition source being blown out. Once lit, these matches can be submerged in water or dirt and will reignite. Amazing! Are they perfect? No. But they are the best matches I have found so far. Can you soak the matches and the striker in water for 30 minutes and still use them? Absolutely not. Find me a match and striker that can do that. I have never had one fail to light and I have never broken the match stick in half when trying to strike it. If you know how to PROPERLY strike a match, then you should never break one. The case is very stout and from my experience in wet conditions, is waterproof. However, if you get the striker located on outside of the case wet then it won't work. Imagine that. Good thing it comes with two strikers sealed in plastic located inside the case. I do wish the case was a little smaller but that would also mean carrying fewer matches. It is a small complaint and definitely not a deal breaker by any means. If you want a match that is "easy" to light then get some strike anywhere matches or something along those lines. But understand those types of matches are not going to perform as well as these matches do in less than ideal conditions.

I ordered these matches to go into my bugout bag. I like that they come in an orange, waterproof container. It holds more than 20 waterproof matches. The case seems more than durable and small enough to throw into your backpack. Hopefully, I will never find a time when I need them, but if I do, I have the confidence that they will perform flawlessly.
