It works when used daily!

I've been using this product for decades (that's right, decades), back when you had to get a prescription to purchase, and [with daily use] it's been keeping the root sf my teen numb to the point I can chew ice, eat ice cream, and other cold foods with no discomfort. I don't know what I'd do if they ever took this stuff of the market! Definitely recommend this product for anyone with sensitivity/or root exposure. NOTE: The only this to note, is to avoid citrus fruits i.e. oranges, strawberries, starch apples, grapes, and sour candies/or Jolly Ranchers

Good protection for the teeth

It is really good if you have sensitivity problems, just know that stannous flouride will stain teeth. Just use good whitener.

Years ago, my dentist recommended I use this as an after-brush. My issue is gum recession and rapidly-developing plaque. All I can say is that with consistent use (once per day), my dentist says good things about my gums and teeth. Coupled with a Sonicare, this likely helps keep my teeth happy between professional cleanings. Some people use it for sensitivity, but I don't notice any effect in that department. The taste is light, which is fine (means it doesn't have all those flavors added). It's not something I'd recommend just getting for kicks, but if your dentist suggests it (or you can ask), see how the results are for you. PS - Don't drink anything for 30 minutes after brushing or it washes off your teeth.

I apply it between my teeth before bed
