Q-See (Certified Refurbished) QC8916-3R 16-Channel 4K/1080p HD IP NVR with 3 TB Hard Drive, Standalone Surveillance System (Black)

I bought this until to replace my QC828 unit that died after only two years. Since getting this unit I have had nothing but problems. It could be just a bad unit, but if you click on the wrong settings it can turn you camera settings to record only black. After several hours on the phone with Tech Support (in India so get ready for a huge language barrier) we got the cameras up and working, but there solution killed the night vision. This is the 4th Unit I have bought and installed in 3 years. The first unit bought in 2014 died this week (so 3 years old), mine was just over 2 years old. My most recent install for a garage I haven't had any issue with yet but it is less than a year old. I highly recommend some other brand

While the products works, I have two other models from QSee and the customer service sucks! One had to be sent back to be fixed after a year, came back and it still doesn't work, then my second one went, again after a year, I spent an hour with tech support in India and they obviously have no clue what they are doing and are just following some script

The device is very nice, it is easy to use and was very easy to setupI did not have to setup any configurations on my Modem firewall, this seems to stream out to a site and I pick it up from there, was as easy as scanning the symbol and it works from everywhere
