Hello Summer Gel Pillow-Keep Your Ultra Cool at Night, White, 40 X 30cm

These mats really work though it’s a bit of a mind bend - the mat itself doesn’t feel cool but contact with it makes gives you the sensation of coolness. Rather than using it as a pillow, I’ve been putting it at my feet or on my torso to combat hot flushes. These mats are very reasonably priced so I’ve ordered more so I can experience top to toe coolness.

Great little item to place inside your pillow/on your feet or under a baby’s blanket to keep you cool at night.These need to go in the fridge before use for around an hour. They stay cold for about 2 hours which is enough to let you drop off to sleep.Edit: After speaking to my Vet, he confirmed that these mats are NOT suitable for dogs. I was informed that as soon as a dog gets cold, eats ice cubes/cream, or cools down quickly ie using this mat, their bodies automatically start to heat up, like a built in thermostat. So, no matter how hot your pup may be, if you put anything too cold into or into their bodies, their in inbuilt thermostat will kick in and they will get hotter defeating the object and potentially causing heatstroke/heart attack and even death - Frightening!

After a while it does get quite warm, but other products like this are the same. Useful tip is that some reviewers put their gel pillows in the fridge before use. I wasn't expecting too much and it's not very big or packed full of gel, but on a hot night it provides some brief relief from a hot pillow on the face. The price is okay as well. Mine never came in a box as advertised, just arrived as is, inside the parcel!Word of Advice:After a few months of daily usage eventually it leaks from the sides, so periodically check. I've bought different brands over the years and all have this problem regardless of price. The contents could get in your eye and it does ruin your pillow, as I know all too well. Won't be buying again!

I have 2 of these and I put mine at the bottom of my bed for my feet. I find if my feet are cool then I stay cool. When the first one has taken my body heat and become warm, my feet move over to the second one, whilst the first cools back down. Easily slips into bag to take away. I have used these for 3 years now and they help me get through summer nights and "glow moments". Excellent value for money and last a good couple of years.

This product is just the thing for keeping you cool on hot summer nights. It fits perfectly inside a pillowcase and doesn't make it wet. It's kept me lovely and cool during the hot nights in summer. I'm not 100% certain how long the effect lasts as it is warm when I wake up but it certainly helps to get you off to sleep. I would imagine it would be really useful to use for children or adults suffering from a high temperature or as relief from hot flushes too.

Bought two of these and they were a godsend in the hot weather. Placed the pad between our pillows and our pillowcases. They really work and stay cool for about three hours. So it might be worth having two so when one warms up you can swap it for another. Only downside is if you wriggle around in your sleep like my partner does then they can slip around inside the pillowcase and need repositioning. But overall an effective product considering the price. Gave mine to my father-in-law as he was having problems sleeping in the heat and he loves it, so have just ordered another for myself!

Arrived very quick. but the item did not arrive in the box as shown in the ad. Slightly disappointed with that as i wanted it as a present but arrived in a mail bag.... so could not give the present as I wanted it to look new and unopened. But the product its great, love the fact that does not need to go in the fridge as normally things that go in the fridge get a funny smell. In the end i kept it for my self to have an another one on the go. Will recommend this product for sure.
