Super light and your kid can get this bat around FAST!
This bat has made a huge difference in my kiddos swing. You would never think that something this small could affect a swing so much! Ever since my kiddo started using this bat a few weeks ago, she has gone from strike outs and walks to all hits in games because she can get this bat around faster! It is 100% worth every penny!

It will break in half
Easton's 2 piece design is junk the bat breaks where the different materials are fused together. Easton will replace it 1 time but will not refund your money. Picture shows the original and replacement. My daughter got 4 months use out of the original bat and 2 weeks out of the replacement. I will never purchase a Easton bat ever again. I can't even get a refund or a replacement at this point because they already replaced it once.

So far so good, around 200 swings
Let me start by saying my daughter is not a power hitter, that is why we are using a drop 12 bat. She has a good swing but not a lot of power yet. This bat was an upgrade from her LS Proven (another great option for smaller players). The FireFly gives her confidence to full swing without fear of that hand sting, and she knows that when she makes contact that ball is going to go flying. We broke it in using a Tee, 50 75% hits, 50 100% hits, 50 front tosses, and rotating the bat with every hit. With the warranty and her growth, I feel confident we will outgrow this bat before it breaks and for half the price of more advanced bats, I am very comfortable with the value of this bat.

Decent upgrade
It was a decent upgrade from our daughter's first bat which was aluminum. She's pretty skinny so I wanted her to have a lighter bat. She says she doesn't feel any sting with it, she doesn't even like to wear gloves. But it still doesn't compare to the $500 bats that the other girls have. I don't feel that it has that pop.

Great entry level composite bat.
Bought for my 10U and 12u daughter. She loved it so much that I bought it for her when she went to 12u. Great quality for the value. Or is very durable and very balanced. She’s got good power, so the bat added pop to her swing.

Great bat - needs lots of break in time
We decided to spend the money and get our girls their first composite bat this season (8U/10U). After much research and video reviews, I decided on the FireFly. Love the look, and loved the pop shown in the review videos. Did some easy breaking in at first (100 hits off tee, 50 soft toss) before letting them hit full power with it. After a few games I realized the balls were going further/higher with the previous alloy bat, so I took it out myself and gave quite a few hard hits. It definitely started improving then. Got that nice pop sound, and balls are starting to go flying! Overall love this bat, just needed a bit more breaking in than expected. Probably around 250-300 hits (including the first 150 break-in).

Terrible quality for the money spent
I bought this bat for my granddaughter for Christmas and spent quite a bit of money on it. She took it to practice for the first time today. She is a petite just under 5 ft tall girl. She swung at and connected with a slow-pitched softball. The bat snapped in half. She was in total shock. I have read reviews on this site and other places that say the same thing. The company needs to research why these bats are breaking and stop making them if they can't correct the problem.
