Green Ink Color Comparison
The green ink refills have a color that is a bright, middle-of-the-road green, though with a slightly blue tinge. The best way to explain it that I've come up with is to compare it to green ink on a US dollar bill, specifically the seal of the Department of the Treasury. (I figure this is a common enough item, in the US at least, that people might have in their possession.)The green color of the Treasury seal on a $1 or $5 bill is a classic, rich green. The color of the green ink refills is slightly more blue. It's still a good color - when you're not holding it next to anything else green, you won't really notice the slightly blue tinge. The ink is a bright shade, not like a forest green, which is darker. The ink refills appear sturdy, and I don't think they'll leak. The writing feels smoother than a typical ballpoint, and the ink dries quickly. I haven't had the refills for long, but the one I've used hasn't had any flow problems. I have it in my Parker Jotter, where it fits perfectly.Comparing how it feels to write on one pad of paper (a Basics writing pad) versus another, the Basics writing pad feels slightly more scratchy. On my other pad, the pen glides along very nicely. Your mileage may vary, but this gliding is exactly why I wanted to buy these specific refills. It feels like writing with a rollerball, but it's a ballpoint.I will also note that the ink dried a little less quickly on the Basics paper - I tested it by writing a wavy line and then running my finger over it. If I waited to a count of 3, it wouldn't smudge, but it did smudge if I gave it less time. Drying was even quicker on my other pad of paper.Sturdy refills, good green color, great flow and line, smooth writing. Like I say, it fits my standard Parker Jotter perfectly. A gel ink writing experience with a ballpoint pen - these do a great job. I took a chance and bought 6 refills at once, which is a better price per refill than two at a time, and I'm glad I did. I'll be using this pen a lot.

Bold Smooth Great Color
I'm thoroughly impressed with the Monteverde Capless Gel Ballpoint Refill for Parker Ballpoint Pens in Fine Point. It writes incredibly smoothly and effortlessly, feeling like a high-quality rollerball. What's remarkable is how quickly the ink dries, even with the bold and rich lines it produces. The blue-black ink is deeply saturated, creating a unique and distinctive shade. One thing to consider is that, as another customer pointed out, the 'fine' line width is sommewhat broader than typical fine refills, much closer to a 1.0mm gel pen. Nonetheless, it's an excellent choice for those who appreciate smooth writing and a distinctive ink color.

Almost perfect
A very good refill. I use them in both Parker Jotter and Caran d'Ache 849 pens. They are smooth and reliable. I like blue/black, and this one is pretty good but I wish it were darker. The actual shade is more like a dark turquoise. Also, this should not be labeled a "fine" point. It's definitely more like a 0.7 mm, usually labeled medium. I wish Monteverde would call these medium and make a real 0.5 mm fine point.

very good refills
I got these to replace the factory cartridge in a Rotring pen. The factory cartridge stopped writing after two days. These are much better. They're gel ink, so that's one big difference. They write smoothly and they don't seem to be as prone to leaving gloppy dots as some gel pens I've used. The black is a really deep, dark black, too.

Try it and enjoy!
If you like gel ink pens and want to put a gel refill in your Parker pen, Monteverde is an excellent choice. Depending on my mood, I generally prefer the broad point, and I enjoy the sophisticated look of blue/black ink. That's what we have here. The black ink is also nice. Try it and enjoy!

Not fine point
Purchased these gel refills in the fine point hoping they'd be close to a 0.5, but unfortunately they seem to be 0.7. They write well and the ink color is great, but if you're looking for a fine point then these aren't going to be a good fit.

Exactly fit replacement, gel ink, a fine point and smooth writing
Exactly what I needed and wanted. This fit my Molskine click rollerball pen (original, not the plus version) perfectly and converted it to a gel ink pen. It writes very smooth, the gel ink dries fast. I'm a lefty so that is important to me. If I write and immediately wipe there is some smearing but I expect that. I didn't notice any ink smear under normal writing, but I haven't used it much yet. I just got it. It didn't turn my hand black and that's a great thing. The original spring fit exactly and there's no binding when clicking. The tip does not extend too far or not far enough. It's just right. I have no idea how long it will last or stand up to temp and humidity. The only difference I have noted is the original had an all plastic body and this one is metal and noticably heavier but it's a pen cartridge and not a brick LOL! The original plastic one had leaked on me from the heat. I'm hoping this metal one has a more reliable seal and will not leak. It gets hot here. My pen does not feel off or unbalanced. It writes well and I'm a bit fan of the fine point.
