4.5 stars realistically. For all the induction speakers I have tried, this is one of the greatest. It stays on consistently, which is great. Personally I use it on my bedside table and it amplifies my alarm and plays music in my bedroom. My only qualm is that it doesn't have a local audio adjuster. I've found that about 1/3 to 1/2 volume on the phone is ideal for the induction microphone, but it would be nice to adjust the volume locally on the speaker like it's sound board variants.Sound note this is still an induction speaker and sound quality out of induction speakers is always a little more compromised. This one however has a fairly full sound. The location of the microphone is a little finicky, i ended up marking an outline where my phone should go to compensate. It's a cool concept and for my purposes work great, but better sound can be had from bluetooth or chromecast/firetv/airplay emulators type things. But if you're lazy like me and rather just set the phone down it's a perfectly adequate solution

Speaker received as described. Able to amplify sound from mobile phones cableless. Tried it on laptop and it doesnt work cableless. Although not sure if it's even supposed to work for laptops. Comes with cables for other devices too. Great sound with clear crisp bass.

Great concept, geared more towards podcasts and audio books. It is a simple solution when additional sound levels are needed.

No Pairing makes it simple.. I walk into the kitchen or bathroom, set my phone on the speaker, start what ever app I want to listen to and walk away. The sound is very good for the price.
