8 Lights Mode Power Cord Foot Switch 1/2inch Plug for Christmas Tree Lights Compatible Replacement for TS-8W29V, TS-13W29V, TS-17W29V, TS-18WL29V, TS-26WL29V, TS-48W29V

Orginal foot pedal died and only had steady white lights first year. Then this year it died all together and no lights. Bought this as a replacement and works perfectly and we have all 8 choices with lights now!

This worked perfectly for a Costco tree that power cord quit. It was my daughter‘s tree. She said I could have it so I searched for the cord and found it took a chance and it worked perfectly. It does have several different fittings so make sure that you look at yours to get the correct one, but this is adaptable to fit. Yeah, the tree is working again and doesn’t need to go to the landfill.

It is useless in my application for the following reasons: 1. Contrary to the image, the female end (the one going to the tree) is only about 6 inches long, and so if connected, the switch would be deep under the tree, next to the tree trunk requiring the user to crawl under the tree to operate it. 2. Contrary to the image again, the female plug has a notch (see photo) which prevents it from coupling with the cable on my GE tree. Ridiculously, their own conversion cable (in the photo) does not have a groove either, which prevents it from fitting into the notched connector as well. 3. Finally, the switch arrived on Dec 22, 3 weeks after the initial “arrive by” date which made it almost irrelevant this season. My guess is they run out of the original part and hastily produced a new version of it. It is hack-ish, thoughtless and incompetently put together.

It’s a small thing, but this is a great product working better than I expected. The instructions are clear & helpful, esp if you aren’t aware that power supply adapters for decorative lights can be in 1 of 2 polarities… you gotta look close. This item even supplied a separate “reverse polarity” cord allowing any power adapter to work. My lights would not have worked without it; I’m impressed!

Great replacement for obsolete switch

Not good, I need to return due to the nut size is to small. Do you offer the unit with a nut size bigger than 1/2 inch?

This gave me my Christmas tree back!!!! My light mode switch burnt out years ago and I was stuck with white lights only. Every year I searched for a replacement with no luck. This was a bit of a Hail Mary as my plugs have a little slot on them but my plug 🔌 did not, so this product worked with no modifications required. Yippee. Xmas tree was bought at Home Depot and was Martha Stewart brand, so for the rest of you out there …. this worked. Was a bit pricey but considering the cost of new trees (the stuff of nightmares) this will buy me (hopefully) some more years. Merry Christmas to all!
