First, I've thought, it will be a little bit thicker. Just by looking at the yarn, it felt yarn weight #2, instead of DK weight. The yarn is so tightly spun, though, that it gives a completely round circumference for the yarn, calling for a larger hook than a #2 weight yarn would. If i wouldn't have known that it was acrylic, I would've bravely identified it as a high quality Egyptian mercerized cotton yarn. The sheen and stitch definition is exceptional, yet it is extremely soft. I've ordered many colors, I will have (and already had) delightful time to work with this yarn.
