Nokia Lumia 735 UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Orange (4.7-inch)

Great phone, I had an old Nokia N8 and it had incompatible operating system for videos but not the new windows 8.1 Nokia. The apps have improved immensely the FLV app (free) plays MKV, avi, even Ts, files (for Hauppage users) without the need for conversion. The ,Here, map app is also good for navigation. Itunes compatible apps, help sync Itunes music with the Nokia Phone. It uses a nano sim card slot but it also has a slot for a micro SD card, which is nice for me because I had alot of files on my 16Gb SD card.If your looking for a smartphone that is good value for money then this phone is it.

Nice looking phone, crystal clear face & nice to hold. This phone is also well priced and the home screen tiles are a brilliant feature. Very user friendly and nothing fiddly about it. Loses a star for not having near as many apps as android & apple phones and a major fault with the lumia phones is the fact they often freeze and also turn themselves off in mid conversation! I've had three lumia phones and they have all done this!

I've had my Lumia 735 for less than a week and when the phone was working it was great - good and intuitive user interface, excellent cameras and some impressive apps. Unfortunately it keeps crashing - usually in the middle of something crucial. When this happens I have to leave the phone for a long while before it will switch back on as it will not even reboot if I remove and replace the battery and SIM. The phone has now completely given up the ghost, displaying the error message that Windows 8 needs reinstalling and I need to run the disks in my 'computer' (great help there!).When I told friends I was thinking of buying a Windows 8 phone quite a few recommended I didn't - the common view was ios and Android were far better operating systems and with Windows 8 Microsoft have just shoehorned a system designed for pcs and laptops into their phones because they are late entrants to the mobile market. Now I think that there may be some truth to this. I've asked Amazon to replace the phone but to be honest this experience has made me doubt Microsoft phones in general (and let's face it the 735 might still have the Nokia logo, but it's a Microsoft!).

Having used a Lumia 820 for 2 years I was eager to stay with windows phone for replacement felt the 830 didn't offer more than the 735 to justify the extra cost so plumped for this. Screen is slightly smaller than used to but the perfect black and bright vivid colours in HD are perfect speed and touch response are good. This has been a good replacement and hasn't put me off windows phone with the add bonus of Cortana before old phone would have got update easy phone for novices or more experienced the shinny removable back cover is easy to remove and feels good to handle

Brilliant phone, easy to use. Brilliant features and good apps pre loaded onto the phone and many more to download. Would highly recommend this phone.

Purchased for a 14 year old boy by request. absolutely loves it and is finding all the similar apps to what he had before on the BlackBerry. I think the Windows os is great, but the style and quality of the phone could be better, but very reasonably priced, so no complaints.

Phone arrived today and have been busy setting it up this evening! Really pleased with the device itself and it's many features - the cameras are excellent. Will see how I get on over the next few days but definitely far better than an Android phone :)
