Sturdy & Multiple uses
I used these hairpin leg floor protectors on my cast iron skillet rack. The cast iron weighs quite a bit, and having this protectors on the front legs of the rack cause a minor incline which prevents the rack from tipping towards the pan handles so the skillets stay put.Could you imagine a cast iron rack giving way in the middle of the night and all the cast iron sliding down to the ceramic tile floor?I would have a heart attack because I would think someone was trying to break into the house! So, if you have a heavy duty wire rack for your cast iron skillets, and need a slight incline to keep them safe, these protectors might be what you are looking for! They are also inexpensive, shipping was super fast!

Glad to have extras
While these do a decent job balancing and keeping the coffee table in place. Every once in a while someone pushes it back from the couch, and a doodad pops off and the dog eats it or the cat decides it her toy, then the dog eats it.Having the extras is needed. I anticipate I’ll buy more again in the future.

It works!
I designed and built a cowhide footstool with paperclip steel legs more than 5 years ago. It has been regulated to the carpeted den all this time - I wouldn't dare use in on my hardwood floors. I saw these rubber feet advertised and immediately placed an order. They were a bit of a tight fit, but they are on and certainly aren't going to come off easily. Now my footstool is in the front entryway and in constant use. It is where we sit to put on and remove our shoes.

Hard to replace hairpin leg tips
Granted hairpin table legs are so last century 1950's ish. I've have a number of these black iron legs for quite a few years. Real handy if you wish to make a quick table. The legs will actually support a lot of weight. And that's where the problem lies, the leg will leave an impression on the carpet, tile or sheet vinyl. Or if they are used in a basement there is the possibility of rust stain. These tips solve that problem. Good product. 8 pack will serve two tables or if you're unlucky and knock one or two off while moving around (or moving) you have extras .

A great idea for tables or chairs with hairpin legs
I built a couple tables using hairpin legs, and I had no issues so long as they were on carpet. I recently moved to a home with hardwood floors, so I bought the leg protectors to help preserve the floors. I thought they would work fine because the hairpin legs are somewhat bigger, but the protectors still have a tendency to want to slip off the legs. At this point, I say it's a great idea, but it needs some work to take the idea and make it fully work.

Must-have addition for hairpin legs...
Must-have item if you have a desk/table with the hairpin legs. Aside from the fact we live in an old house, there may also be irregularities with the hairpin legs I got—after all, no manufacturing process is 100% all the time and I made my desk tops myself...so they’re definitely not perfect either. These “feet” helped me level the desk by giving me a surface to stick felt furniture pads to and also protect our (very old) wood floors. The desk would’ve been really wobbly without these but now it’s completely sturdy. Like I said, they’re a must-have addition for the hairpin legs.

Do not waste your time or money
I had high hopes based on some of the newer reviews. These are a very hard plastic, so they do not give enough to be applied to the legs. Why on earth would each packet of 4 (useless) protectors come with 12 (yes, twelve) screws!? Total waste! The caps are going directly into the trash, the screws will go into my collection. The picture on the far right is the original rubber cap (top), the bottom is the hard plastic junk. They are the same size, it’s the material that makes it junk. Putting a screw into the cap to mount it would totally defeat the idea of protecting your floors!

Perfect for hairpin legs
I like that they stay on even when picking up and moving my keyboard. Great floor protection.
