I was expecting actual glass - to be clear, these are actually plastic. I got them for my ailing father who tends to drop his wine glasses a lot, but they are pretty large (hold a lot of wine) so he doesn't use them as much as I had hoped. That said, these are actually quite nice! Even though they are plastic you can't tell when one is sitting on the table. If you hold one up close (as in right in front of your face) you can see the seam in the plastic, but that's all. They are really light as well! I'd recommend hand washing based on what Intead in the packaging, as it sounds like they may get cloudy in the dishwasher.

Love the size, look, and the fact that they won't break, but must not be meant for much repeated use as they eventually stain from red wines. The stem feels a little wobbly, but hasn't caused an issue.

Very nice looking. I looked at silicone glasses and wasn't impressed. I like the heft and the clarity, I don't like the edges. The top of the glass looks very smooth, but the interior edge is rough. Fortunately my husband is very talented and ground out the rough edge without damaging the glass. I would've given a 5 star except for the roughness. I haven't tried the dishwasher yet, not sure if I will.

I did not like these once they arrived. The picture makes them appear to look more glass-like and high-end but, when I opened the box and saw how cheap they appeared, I returned them immediately. They look more like a toy.

These are beautiful wine glasses that are unbreakable, don't have a thick rim and seam up the side like so many of these products do. This one is beautiful - it looks just like a wine glass from a distance. We own a beach rental house in Bonaire that has tile floors and a pool, so we can't have any glass in or around the house. Also, renters can't break these if they drop them. We are delighted with how beautiful these are. Bought these for my 87 year old mom who likes elegant glasses but has had a few incidents dropping glassware and ending up with cuts. This plastic glassware solved the problem. Dishwasher safe.

"Provides the look and weight of a fine wine glass" was the description on Amazon. Umm - NO! It is plastic and not even a particularly "fine" plastic at that. Am returning. For the same price I got real glasses at Steinmart that are guaranteed to withstand a commercial dishwasher.

Nice weight, excellent clarity and good capacity in a multi-purpose style. I found no interior edge roughness on any one of the set. And, yes, they ARE plastic: for safe use on the patio, poolside, park and (just to keep the alliteration going) "plage", where bare feet and limbs are exposed. It's a GOOD thing...
